1、农村小学英语教学 English Teaching in Rural Primary Schools摘要:教育对一个国家和民族的发展具有重要的作用。英语教学是教育的重要组成部分,对学生的全面发展具有重要的意义。小学开设英语课程是21 世纪初期我国基础教育课程改革的重要内容.提升农村小学生的英语教育水平是提高我国教育水平的一个关键措施。英语是一门国际语言,是国际交流的工具.且随着社会和经济的发展,小学英语教学显得尤为重要. 完善农村小学生的英语教学,能够促进学生英语能力的提高和整体教育事业的发展,从而为农村的发展奠定良好的人才基础。但由于地域之间社会经济文化的差异,农村小学英语教学相比城市,存在

2、的问题更加严重、复杂。本研究针对目前农村小学开设英语教学面临的问题提出了一系列的应对策略。关键词:农村小学,英语, 教学现状,对策Abstract: Education plays an important role in a country and national development. English teaching is an important part of education, has an important place to the all-round development of students. Primary English curriculum in early

3、 twenty-first Century is an important content of curriculum reform of basic education in China. To promote the English education level of the rural primary school l is a key measure to improve the level of education in China. English is an international language and a tool for international communic

4、ation. And with the development of society and economy, primary school English teaching is very important. To advance the English teaching can promote the development of rural pupils, improve the students English ability and the development of the overall education so as to lay a good talent base fo

5、r the development of rural areas. However, because of the difference between the social economic and cultural areas, the problems of rural primary school English Teaching in rural than in city are more serious and complex. The rural primary school English teaching problems are analyzed, and a series

6、 of countermeasures are put forward in this study.Keywords: rural primary school, English, teaching situation, countermeasures引言:教育是百年大计,关乎国家的稳定和社会的发展。良好的教育质量水平能够为国家与社会的发展培养大量优秀的人才。基础教育的质量决定着一个人掌握基础知识以及认知基本技能的程度。完善农村小学生的英语教育,能够促进学生英语能力的提高和整体教育事业的发展,从而为农村的发展奠定良好的人才基础。随着我国社会主义现代化建设的推进和教育改革步伐的加快,在新农村建设

7、进程中,农村开设英语课已经是势在必行.但从部分农村地区的英语教育实践来看,我国农村小学外语教育形势仍不容乐观,广大农村地区仍存在课程设置不合理,英语教师素质不高等诸多问题,农村小学英语教育的现状远不能适应我国社会经济建设的需要。I. Introduction: Education is a long-term program and vital to the development of national stability and social. The quality of education level is good for the country and social develop

8、ment to cultivate a large number of outstanding talents. The quality of basic education determines a person to master the basic knowledge and the degree of cognitive skills. Improvement of English education in rural primary school students can promote the development of improving students English ab

9、ility and overall education so as to lay a good talent base for the development of rural areas. With the development of Chinas socialist modernization construction and the speeding up of the pace of educational reform , running English courses is already imperative in rural areas during the process

10、of new rural construction . But from the practice of English education in some rural areas, the situation of rural primary school language education in China is still not optimistic, there are still some problems in the vast rural areas. For example, unreasonable curriculum setting、the quality of En

11、glish teachers being not high and so on .And the current situation of rural primary school English education can not meet the need of social and economic development in China. 1.1研究农村小学英语教学的重要性1.1The importance of the rural primary school English Teaching1.11 the social life of information technolog

13、使用的语言。也就是说,世界上差不多每五个人中有一个人至少在一定程度上懂英语。因此,学好英语对实现上述目标具有重大的现实意义和深远的历史意义。小学英语教育正在全国广泛地开展。第二语言习得的有关研究表明,(移民的) 外语水平很大程度取决于外语学习的起始年龄;外语学习开始得越早,就越成功。English is one of the main international language tool in todays world, but also the worlds most widely used languages. That is to say, the world almost one i

14、n five people at least learn English to some extent. Therefore, learning English well is of great realistic significance and far-reaching historical significance to the realization of these goals. Primary school English education is carried out widely. The second language acquisition research show t

15、hat, (immigrant) foreign language level depends largely on age at onset of foreign language learning; the sooner foreign language learning begins, the more successful you can be。1.12教育均等促使农村小学开设英语课中国大学新生的英语综合水平存在着一个不可争议的事实: 城市学生明显强于农村学生, 其根源之一就是他们不在同一起点, 多年来农村学生都是从初一刚刚接触到英语, 对他们来说这是一门全新的课程,要从简单的A、B、

16、C 学起,而此时的城市学生们至少已学过4 年甚至更长时间的英语, 这样的差距不是一两天就能弥补得了的。因此在农村小学开设英语课能促使教育均等,缩小城乡学生之间的差别。 There is an indisputable fact: English comprehensive standard of Chinese university students in city was stronger than the rural students. One of the root causes is that they are not in the same starting point. Over

17、the years the rural student just study English from grade junior high, and English is a new course for them, learning English just from the simple A, B, C. And at that time, the city students have at least learned for 4 years or even longer time on English learning. This gap can not be made up in ne

18、ar days. Therefore, setting English curriculum in the rural primary school can promote educational equality and narrow the differences between urban and rural students.1.13小学阶段是语言发展的关键期在小学阶段开设英语课,符合儿童的身心特点,也符合语言主要靠自然习得的规律。在语言发展关键期对学生进行外语训练,能有效促进外语水平的提高。为什么学习英语要从小学开始呢?美国心理学2001年公布了一项研究结果:学习语言最关键的是听说能

19、力,一般10 岁左右基本定型之后逐渐下降,因此,人类语言发展的最佳时期应当在10 岁之前。如果从青春期以后再开始学习外语,孩子几乎不能学成很地道的外语(只有少数语言天赋极高的孩子例外)。这里,我必须要提到关于外语学习的另一个重要理论“双语理论”。过早地强化外语不仅事倍功半,而且会干扰孩子的汉语学习,如果母语发展不充分,外语学习也会大打折扣。因此,孩子学习英语的最佳年龄是613 岁,正好处于小学阶段。如果家长在孩子这一年龄阶段的英语学习给予足够的重视,就容易取得事半功倍的效果。Primary school stage is the critical period of language deve

If from to begin learning a foreign language is begin learned after adolescence, children can hardly learn good foreign language (only a few Language gifted children exception). Here, I must mention another important theory on foreign l

23、anguage learning - bilingual theory. It is premature to emphasize language learning for children , which not only goes a long way but also interferences the mother tongue learning of Chinese child .If the mother tongue learning of Chinese child has not a sufficient development, the ability of foreig

24、n language learning will be greatly reduced. Therefore, the optimal age of learning English for children is 613 years old. And it is precisely in the stage of primary school. If the parents in this age stage can give sufficient attention to English learning their children, it is easy to get twice th

26、理学和小学英语教学,语言学习理论和小学英语教学。The third part aims to make a future exploration of 农村小学英语教学存在的问题. 如:课程设置不合理,教学资源,师资力量匮乏,缺乏学习英语的环境和氛围,重视不够,教学评价体系不当,农村传统思想及教学模式影响教学等。In the fourth part, the study focuses on 改进农村小学英语教学的对策.如:规范课程设置,改善教学条件,加强师资队伍建设,营造英语学习环境,加强管理和指导,教学评价多元化,推广合理的教学模式和先进的教学方法等措施。Finally, the last

27、 part draws a conclusion to this paper. The paper mainly consists of five parts. The first part is a brief introduction of the study, the significance and structure of the paper. The follows second based part gives a more systematic study about theoretical basis of primary school English teaching: e

28、ducation theory and the primary school English teaching, teaching psychology and primary school English teaching, language learning theories and primary school English teaching. The third part aims to make a future exploration of rural primary school English teaching problems. Such as: unreasonable

29、curriculum, the shortage of teaching resources and qualified teachers, the lack of English learning environment and atmosphere, not enough attention to rural primary school English teaching, improper teaching evaluation system an d the rural traditional idea and teaching mode of teaching. In the fou

30、rth part the study focuses on countermeasures of improving rural primary school English teaching. Such as: regulating curriculum design, improving teaching conditions, strengthen the construction of teaching staff, creating English learning environment, strengthening the management and guidance, tea

31、ching evaluation diversification, measures to promote the reasonable teaching mode and advanced teaching method. Finally, the last part draws a conclusion to this paper. 二.本论文的理论基础 2.1教育学理论和小学英语教学教育学理论对本研究提供重要的理论指导,对教育政策的制定具有积极的意义。本研究依的两个重要教育理论为教育公平和“发现学习”理论。近年来,随着社会主义和谐社会的建设与发展,公平的理念对人们产生了深刻的影响。这一理

32、念也体现在了教育活动与教育改革中。教育公平倡导不同个体之间具有公平的教育机会,而国家与社会应该为这种平等教育机会情况的出现提供保障。教育公平原则表现在观念层面、目标层面、制度层面和微观的教育过程层面。将公平教育理念应用到小学教育中的重要表现是农村小学生应该同城市小学生一样具有同等学习英语的机会;不同区域之间的学生应该具有公平的教育机会。除了公平教育理念外,本研究的另一个理论基础是“发现学习”理论。布鲁纳认为学习的实质是一个人把同类事物联系起来,并把它们组织起来同时赋予它们意义的结构。因此,学习就是认知结构的组织和重新组织。知识的学习就是在学生的头脑中形成一定的知识结构。这种知识结构是由学科知识

33、中的基本概念、基本思想或原理组成的。在此基础上,他提出了发现学习理论。这一理论一方面强调了学生自主学习的重要性并提供了实现这一理念的办法。这种观念同新课标的“以学生为中心”的教学思想相似。这可以为小学英语教师的教学工作提供借鉴。另一方面,发现学习理论关注学生学习动机。了解这些理论,教师可以更好调动农村小学生的学习英语的积极性,提高其学习效率。二.The theoretical foundation of this paper 2.1 theories of education and primary school English TeachingEducation theory provides importa
