三、教学准备
各种颜色的圆形、三角形、正方形纸板，一个闹钟，一把三角尺，一块正方形橡皮，单词卡片，教学挂图，教学磁带等。
四、教学步骤
Step1Warmingup
1、师生问候。
2、表演唱英语歌曲“Whoiswearingyellowtoday?
”
Step2Presentationanddrill
1、出示闹钟。

It’sacircle.（教师帮助学生回答）
2、出示橡皮。
T：
Whatisit?

It’saneraser.

3、用同样的方法教学单词triangle.
4、如课文A部分所示，依次将圆形纸板、正方形纸板、三角形纸板贴在黑板上，拼成机器人的形状。
T（边贴边问）：

T（贴完后问）：
Whatisit?
S:
It’sarobot.（帮助学生回答）
板书并教学单词robot.
5、听课文A部分录音，跟读。
6、戴人物头饰，分角色表演课文A部分。
Step3Practice
游戏——Guess,guess,guess!
（猜一猜！
）
教师将不同形状的彩色纸片放入上方开了一个小洞的纸盒内（洞口刚好可以伸进一只手），学生随意抽取纸片并猜其形状，猜对的可得到奖励。

游戏——Makingfriends（找朋友）
将全班学生分为三组进行游戏。
先让所有学生闭上眼睛，将各种图形放在学生的抽屉里，再将单词卡片circle,triangle,square分发给三个组的三名学生。
学生睁开眼睛，该三人以最快的速度找到卡片对应的图形，速度最快的一组为胜。
Step4Consolidation
1、画画，要求画中包含各种形状，并用句型“Whatshapeisit?
”“It’sa…”谈论所画的画。
2、评价。
对学生的表现进行评价，给予肯定和鼓励，激发学生学习英语的兴趣。

2、游戏——Quickresponse（快速反应）
教师快速出示一件物品（clock,eraser,window,chair,apple等），学生以最快的速度说出该物品的形状，看谁反应快。
或者一学生说表示形状的单词（如circle,triangle,square），其他学生迅速地说在家中发现的相应的物品，最短时间内说得多的为胜。

1、出示一个文具盒。

Step3Practice
1、小组活动——拼图比赛。
学生四人一组，用自己准备的颜色各异的小卡片拼出各种不同的图案（图案中须包含triangle,rectangle,circle,square,line,dot）。
一定时间（如5分钟）内各组必须完成作品。
完成后由各组代表上台展示其作品并作简单介绍。
评出最佳设计奖、最佳创意奖、最佳美术奖。
（鼓励学生大胆展开想象，可根据需要改变卡片的大小）
2、课文C部分。
（1）听录音，跟着节奏哼唱。
（2）教师解释说明诗词大意。
（3）学生边跟着念，边用手指在空中画出形状。
（4）学生两人一组拍节奏练说。
教师随意走到学生蹭，抽查练习情况。
教师说前一句，被问的学生必须接出下一句。

每轮每组派一名选手，背对其他同学。
教师做口型，其他学生大声说出该单词，台上选手根据听到的内容迅速找到正确的单词卡片，最快找到的为胜。
1、听课文E部分录音，感知句子的发音。
2、解释句子的含义，教授部分难读单词。
3、听录音，跟读句子。
4、戴上老鼠关饰表演，边表演边读句子。
5、示范字母Uu的书写，并教授读音。
学生跟着空书字母，然后在书上练习，教师检查，让一两名学生在黑板上书写。

如课文F部分所示，四人一组用不同的形状画图，然后描述自己画的图画。
