PROJECTDESCRIPTION

 

Asifweweretiptoeing.

FromtheunderstandingofthelocationasabignaturalparksurroundedbythecityofYecla,it

derivesaninterventionstrategywithamainaim:

Toachievetheintroductionoftheactivitywith

noimpact,buildinganewsymbioticrelationshipwherethemaninhabitstheforestwithout

violenceandthelandscapeobtainsusability.Aftervisitingthelocationwestatedthatthebest

optionisaninterventionwithouttransformingtheforest,keepingaresponsibleintervention

strategy,respectingtheforestandavoidingbigfellingorearthworkswhichmaybreakthe

continuityofthevegetationcoverandnaturalcycles.

 

Longwoodencarpetsbuildanetworkofpathswithatreedesigncrossingtheparkandinserting

theurbanactivityintoit.Itismadeupofarootwhichconstitutesthemultifunctionalbuilding,a

trunkwhichconstitutesthemainpath,somethematicbranchesassecondarypathsandsome

activitynodesbywayofrelaxationandleisureareascontainingstreetfurniturewithanatural

designtoenabledifferentusages(sports,games,relaxation,bio-healthfitness...)

 

Pinewoodisusedwithadoublepurpose:

istheoldestfurniturefairofSpain).Conceptuallyisthemanufactureofthepinewhichmakesup

thepinewoodofthePark.Theprojectiscarriedoutusingdifferentpineby-productasstrips,

planks,logs,squaretimbers,bark,chips,woodwool...2Tectonic:

Theconstructionwithwoodlet

usinterveneintheParkwithouttransformingit.Theinterventionimpactisreducedandthe

implementationfootprintisminized,beingmostlydevelopedonalreadyexistingpaths.

 

AsoftandwindingcircuitcoversthePark'sperimeterallowingsportsapplicationsandto

celebratetheCrossdeYecla,uniqueeventofthistown.Itisdesignedtoenabletherace’s

televisioncoveragewithalowernumberofcameras,moderateslopesandlowimpact.We

proposethereplacementofpines,keepingitsoriginalnumber,andcolourfulplantingsof

indigenousandaromaticbushesaroundnodes.

 

Thepositionselectedtoestablishthebuildingisintendedtogeneratealargerpresenceaturban

levelasthePark'sgatewayandtheminimalimpactontheexistingtrees.Thebuildingis

functionallydesignedasaflexiblecontainerwithmobilepartitionsadjustabletothespecific

requirementsoftheequipment.

 

Wearegoingforacomprehensivesustainabledesignincorporatingactiveandpassive

measures.Theproject'sappearanceischaracterizedbyitssolarprotection,alatticemadeof

pinewoodenlogs,designedandcalculatedtooptimizethebuilding'senergyneedsthroughout

theyear.Thisnaturallatticemadeofwoodenlogsgeneratesasunandshadeintheinterior

areasanditconfiguresanaturalatmospheregeneratingthefeelingofbeingsurroundedby

pines.

 

 

 

 

  

INNOVATIONCONCEPT

Thisprojectisenvisagedasagreatinfrastructurewithatreedesignwhichstimulatesanatural

landscapegeneratingtheminimalpossibleimpact.

 

Itcondensesroutesandactivitiesinaminimalfootprint,incorporatingtheuseofactive

technologiestodevelopthenaturalenvironmentasarainwaterharvestingsystemtowaterthe

introducedindigenousbushspeciespoweredbyphotovoltaicsolarenergy.

 

PassiveandactivesystemsaredevelopedinsidetheMultifunctionalCentre.Itrequires50%less

CO2thanastandardbuildinganditwillbethefirstuniquebuildingofSpainwiththeGBCGREEN

certification.Aparameterizedshadingsystemiscalculatedtooptimizethebuilding’senergy

needs,alatticewith314woodenlogsasasymboloftheaction.

 

Theextensiveuseofwoodenproducts,bioconstructionstrategy,researchesthedifferent

possibilitiesofthismaterialinthesiteequipmentandconstructivedesign.

 

The“high–lowtech”conceptofthisproposalcombinestheuseofhightechnologyinthedesign

toolsandfacilitiesdesignedwithlocaloriginalandaffordablematerials.

 

 

 

 

 

 

SOCIALPARTICIPATION

 

Weproposetheinterventionofthecollectiveexperiencewithinanaturalsettingwhichtreasures

thememoryofthecity.

 

Thebuildingenablesthespatialreconfigurationthroughmobilepartitionstocarryout

intergenerationalsocialactivitiesandlocalassociations'activities.Inthepark,thereisasports

circuitadaptedtotelevisedsportsevents.Didacticlandscapingwitheye-catchingcoloursand

smells.

 

Inthecompetitionweretakenintoaccounttheneighbourhoodassociationsandenvironmental

organisationsaswellasthecriteriaofthoseEuropeanentitiessubsidizingtheproject.

 

 

 

 

  

 

ENVIRONMENTALQUALITYANDRESOURCEEFFICIENCY

 

Thebuildingemitslessthan50%ofCO2comparedtoaconventionalone,15%ofmaterialsis

recycled,itgeneratescloseto10%oftheenergyitconsumesanditreuses95%ofwater.Ithas

asolarcollectorsystemintegratedintothegreenroof,rainwaterharvestingsystemtoreuse

waterforPark’swateringandreuseofgreywater.Air-conditioningandlightingsystemsare

power-efficientandintelligentcontrolsystems.Ithasahighthermalinsulationlevelthankstothe

useofagreenroof,argongasintheglazingandwoodenenclosure,highacousticinsulation

levelandalatticefacadeoptimizedforenergysavingsandaglasscurtainwallmaximizingnatural

lighting.Itusesrecycledmaterialswithlowenvironmentalimpactandgreatdurability,suchas

low-clinkercementwithhighadditionlevel,recycledsteelandpinewoodflooring.

 

TheParkminimizestheenvironmentalfootprintsinceittakesupasmallarea,itincorporatesa

solarmarkingsystemanditusesno-maintenancerecycledtechnologicalwood,pinebarkinthe

relaxationandleisureareasandpinewoodinthesiteequipment.

 

 

 

ECONOMICASPECTS

 

ThisProjectissubsidizedbyEuropeanfundswhichrequireplanning,transparencyand

institutionalcoordinationfortheproject'sdevelopment.Ithasbeenselectedbyregional

institutionsthroughapubliccompetitionofideaspubliclydisplayed,whichallowspublic

participationinitsdevelopment.

 

Theuseofmanufacturedwoodinatowncharacterizedbyhavinganindustrybasedonwood,the

possibilityforparticipationoflocalcompaniesintheconstructionprocessandthesupporttothe

localeconomy. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ENVIROMENTALIMPACT

 

Thisprojecthasatreedesignwithalowenvironmentalimpactanditdevelopsanextensiveuse

ofpinewoodwhichlinksittothelocalindustryandthenaturalenvironment'spineforestwhichis

alsorespectedanddeveloped.

 

Alandscapingrestorationiscarriedoutthroughtheintroductionofindigenousbushesandtrees

withdifferentsmellsandcoloursandacomprehensivesystemofrainwaterharvestingand

watering.

 

Thebuildingprojectsinwardsanaturalatmosphereandthesurroundinglandscapeevokingthe

feelingofbeingsurroundedbypines.

YECLA是大城市中的一个大自然公园,该项目主要目的是降低引入活动干预,建立一个新的共生关

系。

设计师访问场地后,更是明确应该保持一个负责任的干预策略,尊重森林和避免大的砍伐或土

方工程,尽可能不破坏植被和自然循环系统。

 

穿插在公园中的木栈道与城市动线相连,端头是一个多功能建筑。

道路支线保持天然设计风,在不

同的节点有不同的功能(体育,有戏,休闲,生物保健)及相应的景观小品。

 

这里使用的主要材料是松木:
