Thenavigationsystem

Intheareaofsatellitenavigationtechnology,thecurrentU.S.GPSandEurope'sGalileosystemhave30satellites.Asdevelopedbyourcountryaglobalsatellitepositioningandcommunicationsystem,thebeidousatellitenavigationsystemistheU.S.globalpositioningsystem(GPS)andthethirdafterRussia'sGLONASSsatellitenavigationsystemofmaturity.Thesystemconsistsofthreeparts:

thespaceend,thegroundendandtheclient.Thespaceendincludesfivegeostationaryorbitsatellitesand30non-stationaryorbitingsatellites.NowChinahassent16navigationsatellitesandfourexperimentalsatellitesintospace,and40moresatelliteswillbeaddedtothesysteminthenext10years.TheclientconsistsofabeidouuserterminalandaterminalthatiscompatiblewithothersatellitenavigationsystemssuchasGPS,GLONASS,andtheEuropeanUnion,GALILEO.[1]

thebeidounavigationsystemisanactive,two-waynavigation.Thegroundcentercontrolsystemissolvedfortheusertolocatethedatainthreedimensions.GPSisthepassivepseudo-code-directionalrange-based3dnavigation.The3dpositioningdataoftheuserisindependentlysolvedbytheuserdevice.Theprincipleof"beidou"numberonebringstwoproblems,oneistheusertolocatethelosttheconcealmentoftheradioatthesametime,itwillbeverybadonthemilitary,ontheotherhand,theequipmentmustincludethetransmitter,soonthesize,weight,priceandpoweratadisadvantage.

4.Positioningaccuracy:

the3dpositioningaccuracyofbeidounavigationsystemisaboutafewtensofmeters,andthetimingaccuracyisabout100ns.TheGPS3dpositioningaccuracyPcodeisnowincreasedfrom16mto6m,andC/Acodeisnowincreasedfrom25-100mto12m,whichisabout20nsbeforethetimeofinsemination.

Inaddition,the"beidou1"satellitenavigationsystemhassomefeaturesofitsown:

AlthoughGPShasbeenwidelyused,it'snotperfect.

1.Itssizeandcostaretoohigh,anditisdifficultforothercountriestofollowsuit.TheRussianandEuropeanspacestationsaretypicalexamples.

2.GPScanonlybeusedasnavigationbutcan'trealizethecommunicationfunction,soitcannotmeetthegrowingdemandofusers.IfyourelyonGPSalone,youcaneasilybecontrolledbyothers."?

Satellitepositioningsystem,theapplicationbusinessinthisareahasjustbegun,andsometrialsofciviliantrialshavebeencarriedoutformorethanoneyear.

"Beidouno.1"andGPSdifferencemainlyliesintwoaspects,ontheonehandisthedifferencebetweenthetechnicalsystem,GPSpositioningsystemisareceivingtype,onlybroadcastsignals,theuserreceiveslocatedcando,isnotrestrictedbycapacity."Beidou1"isatwo-waystreetthathasbothlocation-basedandcommunicativesystems,butwithlimited

capacity,GPSisaSharedsystemofmilitaryandciviliancontrolbytheU.S.military,andisopentotheworld.TheGPSthatweChineseuseisasignalthatcanreceiveitforfree,buttheamericansdon'tpromisetoguaranteeyouruse,hedoesn'tchargeforit,buthedoesn'tpromisetoneverchargeforit.

TheGPSintheUnitedStatesthatyearhasjustbeenusedfarmorethanthe"beidouno.1"expensive,earlyinthelate1980sandearly'90swhenpeopleisusingGPSsystemthecheapestGPSreceiverwillbetensofthousandsofdollars,andexpensivetohundredsofthousandsofdollars,asetoftwo.ThecurrentuserterminalsofthebeidouaremoreexpensivethanthelowpriceoftheGPS,andnowtheGPSpricegeneralnavigationsystemisinthethousandsofRMB,withahighaccuracyoftensofthousandstotensofthousandsofRMB.Theuserterminalofbeidouiscurrentlyaround20,000yuan.

Beidouno.1"potential,mainlyinthefieldofintegratedpositioningcommunication,thedemandonthecomprehensivefunctioniswillbefullyinthefieldofapplication,nowonlypositioningneedtocustomers,totheneedsofthebigdipperisnoturgent.Butfortheneedtohavebothpositionandpassedoutthepositionoftheuser,thebeidousatellitenavigationandpositioningsystemisveryuseful.

BeidoupositioningaccuracyisequivalenttoGPS,generallyaround1.2m.Atpresent,thebeidounavigationsystemisopentouseathome.

China'sbeidounavigationsystemcanbebroadlydividedintogenerationandgeneration.Agenerationofthreesatellites,consistingoftwoworkingstarsandabackupstar.OnMay25,2003inxichangsatellitelaunchcenterinChinawillbethethird"beidou"navigationandpositioningsatelliteintospace,markedtheourcountryhavetheirownfirstgenerationsatellitenavigationandpositioningsystem.Thefirsttwosatelliteswerelaunchedon31October2000and21December2000respectively.Thebeidousatellitenavigationandpositioningsystemisthefirstregionalnavigationsystemthatprovidessatellitenavigationinformationthroughouttheday.Stage2:
