英语演讲与辩论社团　　社团建立刍议　　辽宁省实验中学北校区初中部英语演讲与辩论社团Englishpublicspeaking&debateLeagueofLiaoningprovinceShiyanmiddleschool（juniormiddleschoolinthe　　northsection）　　一、社团宗旨TheaimoftheEnglishpublicspeaking&debateLeague　　英语演讲与辩论社团的宗旨是：

ThroughdebateandpublicspeakingtheoralEnglishandlogicalwayofthinkingofthestudents’willbeimproved;thehorizonwillbebroadened;thespiritwillbeenlightened.ItwillenablethemtothinkandjudgeinrealsituationsbymeansofEnglish,bytheway,theirwillfindconfidencewhencommunicateordeliveraLeaguewillfullytaketheroleofstudents’secondclass,inthisway,acommongroundwillbeestablishedforthestudentstogivethemachancetoknowandlearnfromeachotherandgainfriendshipthere.通过辩论、演讲等活动形式加强社员的英语口语表达能力和逻辑思辨能力、开阔社员视野，启迪社员心智。

英语演讲与辩论社团充分发挥学生第二课堂作用，让成员们在英语口语交流中互相了解，建立友谊，为热爱英语的同学搭建交流平台。

　　二、社团常规活动RegularactivitiesofLeague　　1、社团活动时间Timeforactivities　　--------　　2、活动地点Placeforactivities　　--------　　3、三分钟演讲（threeminutespresentation）：

　　英语演讲是英语语言的组织能力的综合运用。

演讲与辩论社团指导学生如何进行英语演讲与辩论，每次课前进行“三分钟演讲”，给学生提供感兴趣的话题，使学生掌握演讲技巧，并积累大量词汇。

同时，鼓励学生参加中学生英语演讲比赛，在比赛中得到锻炼和提高。

MakingEnglishspeechistheemployoftheartofspeakinginEnglish.ThememberswilllearnhowtodeliveranEnglishspeechandtodebateinEnglishundertheinstructionoftheLeague.Thestudentswillbeprovidedwithinterest-arousingtopicsintheirthreeminutes’presentationsatthebeginningoftheclasseverydaysothattheirstrategyofmakingaspeechwillbeperfectedandtheirvocabularywillsnowballaswell.　　4、辩论赛：

Englishdebatecontest　　通过教师的辩论指导，观看辩论比赛录像，培养成员的英语辩论水平和团体合作能力，同时组织一定的辩论赛使学生掌握英语辩论技能。

组织社员观看英文电影，小组讨论，阅读英文版经典名著，设计英语猜词，接龙等小游戏，还可邀请外教参与口语交流等，目的是让社员们在活动中愉快地学英语，自信地讲英语。
