  iwaslucky–ifoundwhatilovedtodoearlyinlife.wozandistartedappleinmyparentsgaragewheniwas20.weworkedhard,andin10yearsapplehadgrownfromjustthetwoofusinagarageintoa$2billioncompanywithover4000employees.wehadjustreleasedourfinestcreation-themacintosh-ayearearlier,andihadjustturned30.andthenigotfired.howcanyougetfiredfromacompanyyoustarted?

  i’mprettysurenoneofthiswouldhavehappenedifihadn’tbeenfiredfromapple.itwasawfultastingmedicine,butiguessthepatientneededit.
