我们并不一直住在芒果街。
在此之前，我们曾在卢米斯一栋楼的三楼住过。
再以前，我们住在基勒街，在基勒街之前住在波林纳街。
波林纳街之前住在哪儿，我就记不清了。
但我印象最深的是我们搬了很多次家。
每次搬家都觉得还会再搬。
我们搬到芒果街时，家里有六口人——妈妈、爸爸、卡洛斯、基基、姐姐内妮和我。
芒果街的房子是我们自己的，我们不必给任何人交房租，不用和楼下的住户共用院子，不用小心翼翼地不大声喧哗，也不用担心房东生气。
但即使如此，这也不是我们真正想要的房子。
我们必须赶快离开在卢米斯的公寓。
木制的墙里有虫子，而且那儿的水管也坏了，房东不给修理，因为房子太旧了。
他没有同情心，所以我们得快点离开。
我们那时用隔壁的卫生间，得提水过来，房子里的东西都是潮湿的。
正因如此，妈妈和爸爸才找房子。
也正因如此，我们才搬到芒果街上的房子，它远在市中心的另一端。
