SecondwaveofChineseimmigrantsin1952and1965,theUnitedStatesafterthecivillawban,fromTaiwantotheUnitedStateswhenthestudents'.1970's,Taiwan'seconomyisgraduallydeveloped,suchimmigrantsbegantoreducethe.1977inthe1970yearssincethemainlandbegantosendstudentstotheUnitedStates,suchimmigrantsmoreandmoreinthe1980's.
Inaddition,someofthemodernimmigrantsfromFujian,wenttotheUnitedStatestofindwork,toNewYorkasthecenter,focusedonthenortheast.

归入美国籍时,移民并不需要放弃原有的国籍。
中华民国并不公开承认双重国籍,但是中华民国同时也不视“归入美国籍时所发的誓词”为正式的放弃中华民国国籍之宣示,所以中华民国公民并不会失去中华民国国籍;然而中华人民共和国则不承认双重国籍,一旦归入美籍,移民便视为放弃中华人民共和国公民之身份。

移民
移民美国的中国人曾造成数次移民潮。
据美国政府记载,首次的移民潮大约发生在1820年左右。
从1820年代到1840年代末的中国移民以男性为主,每次数量很少。
不过,由于移民地区只有少数的中国女性,很多移民都选择与当地的欧洲移民的女性后裔结婚(包括一些爱尔兰裔)。
这一时期最著名的华人移民是举世闻名的暹罗双胞胎.
较大的潮流始于1850年代。
当时北美西岸在加州淘金潮期间得以迅速开发,时值华南遭受由于满清政府腐败,造成严峻的政治与经济动荡不隐;内忧有太平天国叛乱,外患又有鸦片战争。
早期的移民包括革命家孙中山。
他入了美国国籍,获得美利坚合众国公民身份,使用了美国护照,受到了美国政府的保护。
结果,许多贫困、操台山话和粤语的华人移民从广东省来到美国修建铁路。
他们不愿再忍受家乡贫困的生活景况,情愿为预付金签下往美国长期劳动的合同。
许多人把挣来的钱全寄回家,不再期望能活着回家。
他们的实况就有如“卖猪仔”。
这些华人聚居于唐人街,旧金山的唐人街人口最多。
这些早期移民,一半以上来自台山。
这些移民曾受到1868年蒲安臣条约的鼓励,但1882年排华法案却使从中国移民成为非法,直到1943年。
许多西部州也开始生效了一些有种族歧视的法律,使得中国和日本移民很难拥有自己的土地或者找到工作。
这些法律直到1950年代民权运动开始时才被废止。
随着1952年至1965年美国移民法的放宽,第二次中国移民潮开始。
中国大陆的专业人士的移民逐渐增多,于是1977年美国政府开始允许移民定居。

Thelargertrendbeganinthe1850s.AtthewestcoastofNorthAmericaintheCaliforniagoldrushperiodwereabletoquicklydevelop,thedurationofSouthChinasufferedbecauseofthecorruptionoftheManchugovernment,resultinginseriouspoliticalandeconomicturmoilnothidden;internalproblemswiththeTaipingRebellion,foreignaggressionandtheOpiumwar.EarlysettlersincludedrevolutionarySunYatSen.HejoinedtheAmericannationality,theUnitedStatescitizenship,usingaU.S.passport,areprotectedbytheUnitedStatesgovernment.
Resultsmanypoor,fuckTaishaneseandCantoneseChineseimmigrantsfromGuangdongProvincecametotheUnitedStatestobuildtherailway.Theyareunwillingtoendurepovertyinhishometownoflifecircumstances,willingtoadvancepaymentsignedtothelong-termlaborcontract.Manypeopletoearnmoneytosendhome,nolongerexpectcominghomealive.Theylivetheresuchas"soldout".TheChineseliveinChinatown,SanFranciscoChinatown'spopulationmost.Theseearlysettlers.MorethanhalffromTaishan.Theseimmigrantshavebeenin1868Burlingametreatyencourage,butin1882ExclusionActmakesfromChineseimmigrantsbecomeillegaluntil1943.ManyofthewesternStatealsobegantotakeintoeffectanumberoflawsthatwouldmakeitdifficultforChineseandJapaneseimmigrantstohavetheirownlandortofindwork,andthelawwasnotrepealeduntilthebeginningofthecivilrightsmovementinthe1950.
From1952to1965,theUnitedStatesImmigrationActoftheUnitedStates,thesecondChineseimmigrantsbegan.ThemainlandofChina,thenumberofimmigrantsgraduallyincreased,sothattheUnitedStatesgovernmentbegantoallowimmigrantstosettle.TheChinesetendtofocusontheoutskirtsofthecity,andawayfromtheurbanareaofChinatown.
Recentlythethirdwaveofimmigration,includingnonofficialdocumentsofforeignnationals,mainlyfromFujianProvince,totheUnitedStateslookingforlowermanualoccupation.Thetendencyofforeignnationalsfocusinmanyfields,suchastheNewYorkCitymetropolitanarea.TheseChineseandhighlyeducatedprofessionalscontactless.SomeofthemspeakMandarin,mostofMindongsubdialect,despitetheproximityofMinnandialect,butnotwithTaiwaneseAmericanproducedinclosecontact.DuetotheimprovementoftheeconomyofFujianProvince,thenumberofimmigrantsbegantodecrease.Ingeneral,animmigrantfromFujiantoprepaidsnakeheadstensofthousandsofdollars,illegalimmigrationtotheUnitedStates,andtopaytheaccommodationandmeals.Tollsfromhomeandvillageborrowed.TheseimmigrantsusuallyworkforthreeYears,thefirsttwoyearsofdebt,thirdyearstoearnmoney.
Since1965,ChineseimmigrantstotheUnitedStatesbyaid,theUnitedStatestobethemainlandofChina,TaiwanandHongkongindividualquotas.
Basedontheimmigrationlaw,HongkongimmigrantsarenotincludedinthelistofChineseAmericans,andtheytendtoimmigrationtoCanada.
Inthe1980s,duetothegraduatesdonotreturnto,thepeople'sRepublicofChinaontalentoutflowwidespreadconcern.Manyfromtheimmigrationofthepeople'sRepublicofChinabenefitfrom1992ChineseStudentProtectionActChineseStudentProtectionActof1992,Billassumedin1991inthebeautyofthepeople'sRepublicofChinacitizensenjoypermanentstatus.
Inthelate1990s,alargenumberofChineseAmericanprofessionalsbegantoreturntothepeople'sRepublicofChina,formedthetalentedpersonbackflow.Typicalbusinessmodelasfollows:
