2015sawthingsheatupandgetoutofhand,andnotjustinpolitics. 

ArecordwarmDecemberraisedaveragetemperaturesenoughtomake2015 thesecondhottestyearonrecordinthecontiguousUnitedStates,accordingtotheNationalOceanicandAtmosphericAdministration'sNationalClimateMonitoringAnnualReport,which was releasedThursday.
