　　Thefirstsentenceinthisbookisimpressive.Itreads:

“Itisatruthwellknowntoalltheworldthatanunmarriedmaninpossessionofalargefortunemustbeinneedofawife”.Theundertoneisveryclear:

thefoundationofthemarriageatthattimeisnotemotionbutpossession.

　　PeoplealwaysthinkthatAustenwasanexpertattellinglovestories.Infact,themarriageinherbookisnottheresultoflove,buttheresultofeconomicneeds.Afterreadingthisbook,Iknowthetruthisthatapoorwomanmustbeinneedofahusband,awealthyman.
