SirJohnGurdonisagoodexampleofthis.Asaboy,hewastoldhewashopelessatscienceandwasatbottomofhisclass.Now,aged79,theverysameGurdonsharedthe2012NobelPrizeinMedicinewithJapanesestemcell(干细胞)researcherShinyaYamanaka.
