　　因此，我的同胞们，我对你们要讲的是，祖国要求你们不要过安逸的生活，而要过艰苦奋斗的生活。

20世纪已赫然在目，它将决定许多国家的命运。

假如我们再游手好闲，虚度光阴，一味地骄奢淫逸，苟且偷生，假如我们在你死我活的激烈竞争前畏首畏尾，裹足不前，那么，更勇敢、更坚强的民族将会超过我们，并将赢得统治世界的权利。

因此，让我们勇敢地面对斗争的生活，下决心卓越而果断地履行我们的职责，下决心做既诚实又勇敢的人，脚踏实地地为崇高的理想而奋斗。

最重要的是，只要我们坚持正当的斗争，不逃避斗争，不论是精神的斗争还是物质的斗争，国内的斗争还是国外的斗争；因为只有通过斗争，通过不畏艰险的努力，我们才能最终达到真正的伟大国家的目标。
