ScholarshipEvaluationRules&Regulations,SBC,USST

为规范中英国际学院奖学金的评定,从而提高学生学习和发展的积极性,特制订本章程。

Thisregulationisproducedtocreateandstandardiseascholarshipevaluationsystemtoencouragestudents'enthusiasmforstudyandall-rounddevelopment.

1.      中英国际学院奖学金委员会机构设置及职能

ScholarshipEvaluationCommittee（SEC）StructureandFunction:

奖学金评定委员会是中英国际学院奖学金最高组织机构,由学院管理层及涉及学生的主要职能部门负责人组成,其主要职能包括

SBCSEChastheultimateauthorityforstudentscholarshipevaluationandthecommitteeconstitutestheexecutiveandheadsofeachfunctionaldepartment.SECisresponsiblefor:

ü         借鉴上海理工大学，海外大学并结合中英国际学院实际，制订学院奖学金制度；,EstablishingthestudentscholarshiprulesandregulationswithreferencetotheregulationsfromUSSTandBritishuniversities.

ü         指导并监督各相关部门的奖学金评定程序

Providingguidanceandsupervisiontofunctionaldepartmentsduringthescholarshipevaluationprocess.

ü        确定奖学金名单，保证奖学金评定的公正公开；

Agreeingthefinallistofwinnersofthescholarshipawardsandensuringafairandtransparentevaluationprocess.

2.      中英国际学院奖学金评定办法及流程:

SBCScholarshipevaluationmethodsandprocedure

1.奖学金每学年评定一次，依据上学年的表现情况评定。

Theevaluationofscholarshipstakesplaceannuallybasedontheperformanceofstudentsinthepreviousacademicyear.

2.具有参评资格的学生，须本人提出书面申请。

凡发现获得奖学金的个人有弄虚作假或欺骗行为，或在获奖后一学年内出现违纪等现象者，将取消其荣誉称号和以后各学年的评奖资格，收回证书，追回所发放的奖金，并按有关条例给予相应纪律处分。

QualifiedcandidatesshouldsubmitwrittenapplicationstotheDepartmentofStudentManagementinperson.

ThescholarshipawardwillbewithdrawnbySBCandthestudentwillbedisqualifiedfromscholarshipapplicationinthefollowingyearinthecaseofthesecircumstances:

a）Fraudorcheatingduringtheprocessofscholarshipapplicationisfoundinconnectionwithascholarshipwinner.

b）Ascholarshipwinnercommitsadisciplinaryoffenceduringtheacademicyearfollowingreceiptofanaward.

Inadditiondisciplinarymeasureswillbeimposedaccordingtotherelevantregulations.

3.学生管理部负责审核申请学生资格，并提出初步的奖学金获得者名单（除执行校长奖学金），报学院奖学金评审委员会审议通过，并公示一周。

TheStudentManagementDepartmentisresponsibleforevaluatingtheeligibilityofcandidatesandsubmitsdetailsofthepreliminarywinnerstoSEC（exceptinthecaseofthePrincipal’sScholarship）.FollowingapprovalbySEC,thelistofwinnersisannounced.

4.获得学术奖学金一等奖的学生可以向学生管理部提交执行校长奖学金申请

WinnersofLevel-1ScholarshiponAcademicExcellencecansubmitapplicationsdirecttotheSEC.

5学院奖学金评定委员会举行公开答辩会，决定执行校长奖学金获得者名单

MembersoftheSECdecideuponthewinnerofthePrincipal’sScholarshipaccordingtotheapplicants’presentations.

6.奖学金名单决定后，需公示一周，期间若名单有疑义的，可向学院奖学金评定委员提请申诉，但必须以书面形式陈述申述理由并在规定时间前交学生管理部。

AstudentcanappealtoSECbysubmittingawrittenapplicationwithinoneweekfromthedatethelistofwinnersisannounced.

7.学生管理部酌情决定是否需要将申述提交奖学金评定委员会，如无适当理由，则原决定为最终决定；如确有必要，则报奖学金评定委员会重新讨论;

SMDwillmeettodiscussthestudentappealifitisnecessary.Otherwisetheoriginaldecisionisthefinaldecision.

中英国际学院奖学金评定办法（试行）

RegulationontheEvaluationofScholarshipsat

TheSino-BritishCollege,USST

（Provisional）

为激励学生勤奋学习，奋发向上，鼓励学生各具特长，促进德、智、体、美等各方面全面发展，注重学生的思想、业务、文化和身心等综合素质的提高，根据“上海理工大学本科生奖学金管理办法”的基本要求，结合我院具体情况，特制定本办法。

Inaccordancewiththerequirementsof TheAdministrativeMeasuresforUndergraduateScholarshipsatthe UniversityofShanghaiforScienceandTechnology, thisregulationisformulatedbasedontheactualsituationattheSino-BritishCollege（referredtoasSBChereafter）topromotelearningmotivationamongstudentsandencourageall-aroundpersonaldevelopmentmorally,intellectually,physicallyandesthetically.

I. 评奖资格 Candidateship

1．  在我院正式注册接受普通高等学历教育的本科学生；

UndergraduatestudentswhoarefullyregisteredatSBCforhighereducation;

2．  该学年各门课程没有不及格者；

Nofailinanyoftheexamsintheacademicyear;

3．  操行评定达到80分以上；

Over80inMoralConductAssessment;

4．  学术课程出勤率达到学术要求（80%）；

Nolessthan80%inclassattendanceasrequired;

5．  按要求参加学院组织的各类讲座和活动者（需提供证明）；

ParticipationinlecturesandeventsatSBC（evidenceforparticipationtobeprovided）;

6．  凡所在寝室卫生评到三次（含）以上差的，取消奖学金评定的资格

Studentswhohavereceivedgrade“Bad”indormitorysanitarychecksforthreetimesorabovearenotqualifiedforscholarshipapplication;

7．  凡受过纪律处分的学生无评选奖学金资格。

Studentswhohavecommittedanydisciplinaryoffencearenotqualifiedforscholarshipapplication.

II. 操行评定 MoralConductAssessment

对参评学生进行操行是奖学金评选的重要内容。

操行应主要从思想道德素质、身体心理素质、实践能力和创新能力等方面进行。

具体评分细则见附件1.

MoralConductAssessmentisanimportantpartinthescholarshipevaluationprocedures.Studentswillbeassessedmorally,physicallyandpsychologicallywiththeirpracticalskillsandinnovativeability（seeAppendix1formoredetails）.

III. 奖学金种类 TypesofScholarships

1.奖学金分专项奖学金和单项奖学金两种。

ScholarshipsatSBCincludeAcademicScholarshipsandSocialScholarships.

2.专项奖学金包括：

执行校长奖学金、学习优秀奖学金

AcademicScholarshipsincludethePrincipal’sScholarshipandScholarshiponAcademicExcellence.

3.单项奖学金包括：

社会工作奖学金、社会活动奖学金与商业实践奖学金。

SocialScholarshipsincludeScholarshiponSocialWorks,ScholarshiponSocialActivitiesandScholarshiponBusinessPractice.

IV. 评定标准及金额 CriteriaandAmount

2） 执行校长奖学金 ThePrincipal’sScholarship

执行校长奖学金每年评选一次，执行校长奖学金名额每年级各一名。

计划内执行校长奖学金金额5000元，计划外执行校长奖学金额20000元。

ThePrincipal’sScholarship,whichisrunannually,willbeofferedtothetoponestudentsineachYear.TheprizeofthePrincipal’sScholarshipforGaokaostudentsisRMB5,000andRMB20,000forNon-Gaokaostudents.

a.评选资格：

学习优秀一等奖学金获得者

Candidateship:

winnersofLevel-1ScholarshiponAcademicExcellence

b.评选办法：

获得学习优秀奖学金一等奖的同学可以向奖学金评定小组提交申请，由奖学金评定小组审核并决定执行校长奖学金获奖名单。

Methodofevaluation:

winnersofLevel-1ScholarshiponAcademicExcellencecansubmitapplicationstotheSBCScholarshipEvaluationCommittee,whichconsistsofrepresentativesfromboththeacademicsideandtheDepartmentofStudentManagement.TheCommitteewillthenevaluatetheapplicationsanddecidethenamelistofwinners.

2. 单项奖学金 SocialScholarships

1）社会工作奖学金ScholarshiponSocialWorks

参评对象：

学生干部，即担任学生会主席团、部长、副部长及各班班长、团支书等主要学生干部的同学。

Candidateship:

studentleaders,i.e.,PresidentandVicePresidentsoftheStudents’Union,HeadsandDeputyHeadsofdepartmentsandsocieties,ClassMonitorsandSecretariesoftheYouthLeagueinclasses.

a.社会工作优秀一等奖，奖金为800。

Level-1ScholarshiponSocialWorks（amountofprize:

RMB800）.

a）操行分数85，；学年平均成绩不低于50分，单科成绩不低于50分有资格参加评选。

全院按参评人数的1%进行评选；

Qualifiedcandidatesshouldatleastachieve85inMoralConductAssessmentand50orabovefortheaveragescoreoftheacademicyear（50oraboveineachsubject）.Thisscholarshipwillbeofferedtothetop1%ofthecandidates;

b）热心为同学服务，积极参加社会公益劳动，工作成绩显著；

Qualifiedcandidatesshouldbewillingtoprovideservicestostudentsandactivelytakepartinvoluntarysocialworkswithoutstandingachievements;

c）积极组织或参加全校性的大型活动，成绩显著。

Qualifiedcandidatesshouldhavehelpedorganiseoractivelyparticipatedinuniversity-levelactivitieswithoutstandingachievements.

b.社会工作优秀二等奖，奖金为500元。

    Level-2ScholarshiponSocialWorks（amountofprize:

RMB500）.

a）       操行分数85，；学年平均成绩不低于40分，单科成绩不低于40分有资格参加评选。

全院按参评人数的3%进行评选；

Qualifiedcandidatesshouldatleastachieve85inMoralConductAssessmentand40orabovefortheaveragescoreoftheacademicyear（40oraboveineachsubject）.Thisscholarshipwillbeofferedtothetop3%ofthecandidates;

b）热心为同学服务，积极参加社会公益劳动，取得一定成绩；

Qualifiedcandidatesshouldbewillingtoprovideservicestostudentsandactivelytakepartinvoluntarysocialworkswithcertainachievements;

c）积极组织或参加全校性的大型活动，取得一定成绩；

Qualifiedcandidatesshouldhavehelpedorganiseoractivelyparticipatedinuniversity-levelactivitieswithcertainachievements;

d）积极组织或参加学院的活动，成绩显著。

QualifiedcandidatesshouldhavehelpedorganiseoractivelyparticipatedinactivitiesatSBCwithoutstandingachievements.

          2）社会活动奖ScholarshiponSocialActivities

参评对象：

非学生干部学生，即不担任学生会主席团、部长、副部长及各班班长、团支书等主要学生干部的同学

Candidates:

studentsatSBCexceptforstudentleaders（PresidentandVicePresidentsoftheStudents’Union,HeadsandDeputyHeadsofdepartmentsandsocieties,ClassMonitorsandSecretariesoftheYouthLeagueinclasses）.

参评条件：

积极参加或组织学校、学院各项活动或担任志愿者，并取得一定成绩；学习成绩要求参照社会工作奖评选条件。

Qualifications:

QualifiedcandidatesshouldhavehelpedorganiseoractivelyparticipatedinvariousactivitiesattheUniversityorSBCoractedasvolunteerswithcertainachievementsinthisrespect.AcademicrequirementandrequirementforMoralConductAssessmentforthisscholarshiparethesameastheaboveScholarshiponSocialWorks.

奖金金额：

社会活动一等奖，奖金为800元；社会活动二等奖，奖金为500元。

Amountofprizes:

TheamountofprizesforLevel-1ScholarshipforSocialActivitiesisRMB800andRMB500fortheLevel-2.

3）商业实践奖学金，奖金1000元。
