Abstract

Withthedevelopmentofsocietyandtheeducationalreform,people’sconsciousnessandconcepthavehadgreatchanges.Aseveryoneknows,Englishisalanguagewhichisdifferentfromournativetongue.Languageisusuallyusedasatoolforpeopletocommunicatewith

eachotherandexchangeideasandinformationintheirworkanddailylife,sopeopleareeagertousealotofmethodstolearnitwell.Englishiswidelyusedintheworld,andpeopleareawareoftheimportanceandnecessityinEnglishlearning.ItistruethatinterestisapositivefactorinEnglishlearning.Allteachersshouldattachthegreatimportancetothestudents'interestinthewholeprocessofEnglishlearningandteaching.Astheoldsayinggoesthatinterestisthebestteacher.Itisquitecertainthatthestudents'initiativeisdifficulttospurwithoutinterest.Sointhearticle,thepaperstartswiththediscussionofstudents'interest,thenmakesadeepanalysis,andalsoputsforwardaseriesofhelpfulmeasurestopromotethestudents'initiative,andfurthercultivateandstimulatethestudents'interestinEnglishlearning.

摘 要

随着社会的发展与教育的不断改革,人们的思想观念发生了巨大变化。

众所周知,英语是一门有别于我们所讲母语的语言。

语言作为人们在日常生活和工作中进行信息交流与传递的重要工具,人们采取各种不同的方式来学习和掌握它。

英语是一门在世界上广泛使用的语言,人们越来越意识到学习英语的重要性以及学习它的必要性。

大家都知道兴趣在英语学习中起着一种主动积极的作用,它在整个英语学习过程中发挥的作用绝不能低估。

俗话说,兴趣是最好的老师。

在英语学习过程中如果缺乏学习兴趣,学生学习的主动性就很难发挥出来。

因此,本文就学生在英语学习中,应从抓好学生学习英语的兴趣入手,通过深入分析,层层递进,提出了一些有用的措施来激发学生学习英语的积极性,更进一步提高学生学习英语的兴趣。

Introduction

Ourcountry’sreformandtheopeninguptotheoutsideworldmaketheeducationinourcountrydevelopcontinuously.Educationisamatteroffundamentalimportancethatisconcernedwiththecountry'sdevelopmentandtheprogressofhumanbeings.Aseveryoneknows,Englishisalanguagewhichisdifferentfromournativetongue.

Englishiswidelyusedintheworld,andpeopleareawareoftheimportanceandnecessityinEnglishlearning.

Withtherapiddevelopmentandreformoftheeducationinourcountry,peoplebegintoknowthattheeducationalqualityofschoolsdependsonthequalityofteachers.Interestistheinternalpowertospurstudents’learning.ItisnaturalthatinterestisthepositivefactoroflearningEnglish.TeachersshouldpaymoreattentiontothewholeEnglishteachingandlearning.

一.TheImportanceofEnglishLearning

Asweknow,Englishisalanguagedifferentfromournativetongue.However,peoplelearnlanguagesindifferentwaysfordifferentreasons,andhavedifferentunderstandingsaboutthelanguagelearning.ForChinesestudents,theyhavenotenoughexposuretogoodcircumstancesofEnglishlearningandwillfacevariousproblemsinlearningEnglish.

Languageisatoolforpeopletocommunicatewitheachotherorchangetheirideasandinformation.Inthewholeprocess,studentsarethemainbodyinthecourseofEnglishteachingandlearning.SotheteachershouldguidehisstudentstoappreciateanddiscoverthebeautyofEnglishlanguage,practicethelanguageskills,expresstheirideasfreely,andexchangeinformation.

Themostimportantpointistocommunicatewithothersandunderstandculturesandcustomsofforeigncountries.Ontheother

Handasstudents,theyshouldpaymoreattentiontocultivatingtheirinterestinEnglishlearning,havecorrectattitudes,setcleargoalsandhaverightwaysoflearningEnglish.

二.InterestinEnglishLearning

InterestisakindofpositivefactorinEnglishlearning,andhasthefunctionthatteachersandstudentscannotunderestimateintheEnglishteachingandlearning.Itisimportantfortheteachertogivegreatattentiontothedevelopmentofthestudents'interest,andofcourse,thisisthekeytosuccessofEnglishlearning.Aseveryoneknows,interestisthebestteacherinEnglishlearning.Fromthepsychologicalpointofview,interestisanactivefactorformankindtoexplorethingsandperformcertainactivities,andhasatendencytoconcentrateone'seffortsonlearning.InterestalsoplaysaleadingroleinEnglishlearning.Theinterestoflearningisanimportantintegrantinthecourseofteachingandlearning,anditisthemostactiveandrealisticfactorofinitiativeandenthusiasm.OnlythosewhohavestronginterestinEnglishlearningcandowellandgetthebestresults,andtheycanbringalltheirfacultiesintofullplayinlearning.AseveryroadleadstoRoman,interestcanleadonetoanyplacewherehewantstogoasfartherashecan.AtlasthewillbeabletomakemuchprogressandwingreatsuccessinEnglishlearning.

三.MethodsofStimulatingInterest

Therearesomanyunfavorablefactorsthatinfluencetheformationofinterestofstudents,suchastraditionalteaching

conceptsandmethods,andimproperteachingmaterials.So,alloftheaspectsmentionedaboveshouldbetakenintoconsideration

toimprovingtheinterestinEnglishlearning.

Anotherimportantthingisthatteachingmaterialsshouldbefitforstudents.Whentalkingabouttheuseofteachingmaterials,schoolsandteachersshouldchoosethebestonesthatcankeeppacewithourtime,considerthestudents'psychologicalfeaturesandstudents'requirements.Mostofthosematerialsshouldbefullofnovelty,closetothestudents'dailylifeandeasyforstudentstoreadandunderstand.Soteachingmaterialsmustbechosenaccordingtothepreconditionofattractingstudents’interest.Ofcourse,teachingmethodsshouldfitformostofstudents.

Inschools,someteacherspaylittleattentiontodevelopingthestudents'interest.It'snaturalthatteachingmethodsareveryimportant.Thetraditionalteachingmethodcannotmeetthestudents’needsandcannotgivejoyandpleasuretostudents.

Impropermethodsmaylimitthestudents’spaceofthinkingandimagination.Soteachersshouldadoptdiversifiedteachingmethodstoenliventhedullatmosphere,andachievethegoodeffect.Societyisdevelopingandteachingmethodsshouldbechangedwithit,too.TheEnglishteachingandlearninghasitsspecialfeatures,andteachersshouldmakefulluseofthefeaturestoattractthestudents’attentionandinterest.Ontheotherhand,studentsshouldalsodomorepracticeincultivatinginterest,setcleargoalsandhavegoodattitudesinthecourseoflearning.Andteachersshouldknowthattherearesomanywaystoarousethestudents'interestinEnglishlearning.

(一).RaisingStudents'ConsciousnessinEnglishLearning

Havingabetterideaofthelearningaimcanraisethestudents'consciousnessinEnglishlearning.Inthisway,studentscankeepinterestforalongertime,andraisetheirenthusiasmandactiveness.Ifteacherscannothelpstudentssetupthecorrectlearningaim,itisimpossibletostimulatethestudents'interestsuccessfully.Inordertomakestudentshavetheinitiative,andconsciousnessinEnglishlearning,alltheEnglishteachersshoulddotheirbesttoraisethesenseofresponsibilityintheirteaching.

(二).DesireforKnowledgeandSkills

InEnglishlearning,teachersshouldmakestudentsfilledwiththedesiretolearnmoreknowledgeandskills.Atschools,itisimportantforstudentstogetmuchknowledge,andatthesametime,theycanenjoythehappinessintheprocessofEnglishlearning.Inordertomakestudentsshowtheirdesireforknowledgeandskills,teachersmustcreateaseriesofinternalandexternalconditionstohelpstudentstogetmoreknowledgeandskills.Theaccumulationoftheactualknowledgeandskillsinsomesubjectsisbasedonthestudents’interest.Onlyonbasisofthebasicknowledgeandskillstheyhavelearned,canstudentsgetnewknowledgeandskills,andtheycanalsofeelhappyandsuccessfulasthetimegoeson.Thestudents'activepracticeandthenecessarybasicknowledgeandskillsundertheguidanceandhelpofteachers,canfurtherhelpandencouragestudentstoarousetheinterestinEnglishlearning.

(三).NewTeachingMethods

InthewholeprocessofEnglishteachingandlearning,teachersshouldusevariousandinterestingmaterialsandvividteachingmethodstoattractstudents.Newandgoodmethodscanusuallyspurstudentstostudyhardandgetthebestresults.Thechangeofteachingcontentsandmethodscanmakestudentsgetthenewknowledgeandskills.Soteachersusenewmaterialsandteachingmethodstohelpstudentsfinishtheirtaskssmoothlyandimprovethestudents'interestinEnglishlearning.
