TheHC900HybridControlleristheheartoftheProfileManager.ItactsasthecommunicationsinterfacetotheSupervisoryControlSystem,aswellasmanagingtheoutputoftheindividualactuators.Inadditiontothesefunctions,theHC900alsomonitorsthesysteminterlocksnecessaryforthesafeoperationoftheAquatrol

TheHC900isarack-basedcontrollerconsistingofseveralmodularcomponents.

C50Processor

TheC50processoristhemainprocessorusedintheAquatrolProfileManager.Itresidesintherackinthefirstslottotherightofthepowersupplyandprovidestheprocessingforthesystem.BuiltintothisprocessorarebothaLANinterfaceandaserialinterfacecapableofModbuscommunications.

Rack

ThemainrackusedintheAquatrolProfileManageristheHC90012-slotrack.Thisrackhousesthepowersupply,theC50Processor,andupto12I/Omodules.

Inaddition,systemswhichrequiremoreI/Othancanfitinthe12-slotrackmayhaveasecondaryrack（either4or8slots）.

PowerSupply

TheHC900powersupplyresidesintheleftmostslotintherack.Thispowersupplytakesa120/240VACinputandusesthattosupplypowertoallofthemodulesre
