Windssweepairbornepollutionnorthfromlowerlatitudes.Muchofthatpollutioncansettleintotheoceanandontoseaice.IndustriesalongArcticcoastlines,suchasgoldminingandoildrilling,alsocanpollutetheregion’swaters.Asnewiceformsinthefallandwinter,thatpollutiongetstrappedinsidetheice.Whenthaticethenmeltsinthespringandsummer,it’llbringthepollutionitcarriedbackintotheocean.

Whoknowswhykidsdoanything?
