2.Languagecertificates
语言证书
（1）DirectAdmission
TheInternationalOfficedecidesonwhetherthesubmittedcertificatescanberecognisedasaqualificationfordirectadmissiontouniversityorifapplicantshavetoattendaStudienkolleg（preparatorycourse）.ApplicantswithcertificatesqualifyingfordirectadmissioncanbegivenconditionaladmissiontoadegreecourseiftheysubmitaGermanlanguagecertificateforcoursesinstructedinGermanoranEnglishlanguagecertificateforcoursesinstructedinEnglish.AfterpassingtheDSH（LevelDSH-2required）examination,aGermanlanguageproficiencytestknowninfullas“DeutscheSprachprÜfungfÜrdenHochschulzugang”,studentscanbeginwiththeirchosencourse.
ApplicantsareexemptfromtheDSH-2examinationiftheyholdoneofthefollowingcertificates:
ZentraleOberstufenprÜfung（ZOP）oftheGoetheInstitut
KleinesDeutschesSprachdiplomoftheGoetheInstitut
DeutschesSprachdiplom（Level2）oftheKultusministerkonferenz

Additionally,aTOEFLTestistrequiredforthebilingualcourses.
直接入学
国际办公室决定提交的证书是否符合大学直接入学资格，决定申请人是否需要参加预备课程学习。
所持有的证书符合直接入学资格的申请人，可以被有条件录取，进入学位课程学习，前提是申请人提交的的语言证书是德语授课课程德语语言证书，或英语授课课程英语语言证书。
通过DSH2级考试（全称叫DeutscheSprachprÜfungfÜrdenHochschulzugang，属于德语语言能开考试）之后，学生可以开始学习选定的课程。
申请人如果持有以下任意证书，可以免除DSH-2考试：
ZentraleOberstufenprÜfung（ZOP）oftheGoetheInstitut;
KleinesDeutschesSprachdiplomoftheGoetheInstitut;
DeutschesSprachdiplom（Level2）oftheKultusministerkonferenz;
TestDaF四级考试
（2）Studienkolleg（PreparatoryCollege）
Ifthesubmittedcertificatesdonotqualifyfordirectadmissiontostudies,applicantsmustattendapreparatorycourseataStudienkollegbeforetheycanstartauniversitydegreecourse.ApplicantsmustsubmitGermanlanguagecertificates（B1）alongwiththeironlineapplicationandmustpasstheentranceexamination.TheStudienkollegDarmstadtonlyoffersG-andT-courses.TheStudienkollegendswiththeassessmenttestwhichmustbepassedbeforestudentscanapplyforcoursesattheuniversity.G-coursespreparestudentsforarts,humanitiesandlanguagesubject,T-coursesforengineering,mathematicsandsciencesubjects.
预备课程（大学预科）
如果提交的证书不符合直接入学资格，申请人在开始学习大学学位课程之前，必须学习大学预科的预备课程。
申请人必须连同线上申请表一起，提交德语语言证书（B1），必须通过入学考试。
预备课程只有G类和T类。
预备课程学习结束的时候，有评估测试。
只有通过评估测试，学生才能申请大学课程。
G类课程适合学习艺术、人文和语言学科，T类课程适合学习工程、数学和科学学科。
