Thatisourpremise.Thisstoryshalldrawaconclusionfromit,andshowatthesametimethatthepremiseisincorrect.Thatwillbeanewthinginlogic,andafeatinstory-tellingsomewhatolderthanthegreatwallofChina.
JoeLarrabeecameoutofthepost-oakflatsoftheMiddleWestpulsingwithageniusforpictorialart.Atsixhedrewapictureofthetownpumpwithaprominentcitizenpassingithastily.Thiseffortwasframedandhunginthedrugstorewindowbythesideoftheearofcornwithanunevennumberofrows.AttwentyheleftforNewYorkwithaflowingnecktieandacapitaltiedupsomewhatcloser.
