例题一、children是child的复数形式，但是它不是以s或者es结尾所以直接加’s例题二、fortyminutes是一个复数形式，它的所有格是在后面加上’例题三、先看名词room是单数形式，说名房间是Jim和Mike所共同拥有的，所有格在后面的人称后面加上’s例题四、如果不是两个人共有的东西，则在两个名词之后都加’s。

专有名词与普通名词名词按其意义可分为专有名词和普通名词。

普通名词又可分为个体名词、集体名词、物质名词和抽象名词。

1.专有名词：

是个别人、地以及专门机构或团体的名称。

如：

NewYork纽约Clinton克林顿2.个体名词：

是一类人或物的个体的名称。

如：

doctor医生，piano钢琴，ship舰船3.集体名词：

是一些人或物的总称如：

family家庭，army军队4.物质名词：

是无法分为个体的实物。

如：

sugar糖，tea茶，air空气5.抽象名词：

是动作、状态、品质等抽象概念的名称。

如：

work工作，honesty诚实，courage勇气注：

名词按其可数性分为可数名词和不可数名词。

个体名词皆可数，集体名词大都可数，专有名词、物质名词和抽象名词多不可数。

名词所有格1.名词所有格的用法所有格`s或s`形式主要用于人或一些动物的名称，表示”所有”或修饰的关系。

如：

John`sfather约翰的父亲，spiders`web蜘蛛网2.名词所有格的构成1）单数名词直接加”`s”，如：

thischild`sbook这个小孩的书,2）加了-s或-es的复数名词后，只加”`“，如，girls`skirts女孩子们的裙，theTeachers`Day教师节不以s结尾的复数名词直接加”`s”，如，Women`sDay妇女节，children`sbooks儿童书籍3.事物的所有格事物的的所有格常用of表示，如，theshade：

thecity`sparks城市的公园，thecountry`staxsystem国家5.双重所有格of-`s结构叫双重所有格,如：

afriendofmymother`s我父亲的一个朋友,aplayofShakespeare`s莎士比亚的戏剧.名词所有格的构成及用法名词在句中表示所有关系、所属关系、动作执行者及动作承受者等意义时常需用所有格形式。

名词所有格也称为属格、主格，它主要包括’s所有格、of所有格和双重所有格三种表现形式。

定义：

表示有生命的东西的名词及某些表示时间、距离、星球、世界、国家等无生命的东西的名词后加’s来表示所有关系，叫做名词所有格。

名词所有格的用法：

一、名词+’s1、单数名词和不以-s结尾的复数名词在词尾加’s构成所有格例如：

Jimmy’sbookJane’sschoolbagMark’sroomQianqian’smotherChildren’sDayWuhan’ssummerisveryhot.Qianqian’smathisverygood.2、复数名词以-s结尾的只需要加’构成所有格。

例如：

Twins’fatherisMr.Brown.Girls’favoritefoodisice-cream.二、名词+of+名词如果名词是无生命的，我们通常就要用名词+of+名词的结构来表示所有关系。

例如：

Abagofmine=mybagThenameofthegirl=thegirl’snameThewindowofthebedroom=thebedroom’swindow三、特殊所有格若一样东西为两人共有，则后一个人名用所有格；如果不是两人共有，而是各有各的，则两个名词都用所有格，且其后名词应为复数。

例如：

ThisisTomandJim’sroom.这是汤姆和吉姆共有的房间。

TheseareTom’sandJim’srooms.这些是汤姆和杰森各自的房间。

anhourandahalf’swalk四．’s所有格所修饰的词的省略现象表示诊所、店铺或某人的家等地点名词，其名词所有格后的被修饰语常常省略。

例如：

Imetheratthedoctor’s．我在诊所遇见了她。

Hehasgonetothetailor’s．他到服装店去了。

ShewenttoMr．Black’syesterday．她昨天到布莱克先生家去了。

名词所有格所修饰的词，如果前面已经提到过，往往可以省略，以免重复。

例如：

Whosepenisthis？

It’sTom’s．这是谁的钢笔？

是汤姆的。

Thebikeisnotmine，butWangPinpin’s．这辆自行车不是我的，是王品品的。

五．双重所有格及其用法‘s所有格和of所有格两种所有格形式结合在一起，构成”of＋所有格”形式，即双重的所有格。

它通常表示部分观念，即全体中的一部分，在意义上与”oneof．．．”相似，它主要修饰of短语之前的那个名词。

此外，双重所有格与指示代词连用时，常带有感情色彩，如赞赏、不满、厌恶等。

它的主要形式如下：

1．名词＋of＋名词性物主代词。

例如：

agoodfriendofmine我的一个好朋友aninterestingstoryofhis他的有趣的经历2．名词＋of＋’s所有格。

例如：

Heisafriendofmysister’s．他是我姐姐的一个朋友LookatthatlongnoseofJack’s．看杰克的那个长鼻子。

试比较：

apictureofXiaoZhang小张的照片apictureofXiaoZhang’s小张的一张照片3．不定冠词、数词、某些不定代词以及which等限定词，一般不与形容词性物主代词或’s所有格等一起放在名词前修饰名词，而采用of所有格或双重所有格形式。

例如：

mostofthestudents学生中的大多数threeofthem他们中的三个人Ihavereadsomebooksofhis．我读过他的一些书WhichbookofQiongYao’shaveyouread？

A.‘s所有格、of所有格和双重所有格三者之间的细微区别请仔细比较下面三句话：
