尊敬的家长朋友们：
大家晚上好!
我姓张,教初一7.8班的语文。
首先我要感谢大家在百忙之中抽空来参加这次家长会，谢谢大家!
作为7班的副班主任，孩子们入学以来，我尽力配合班主任把工作做得细致周到一些，但孩子们千差万别，所以工作之中难免有做得不尽如人意的地方，希望能得到大家的谅解!
俗话说：
“良好的开端是成功的一半。
”现在你们的孩子刚刚步入初一，正处于一个崭新的起点，作为家长和老师都有义务帮助他们走好第一步。
我们今天能有机会坐在一起，是为了一个共同的目的，那就是为了我们的孩子。
今天我简单地说三点意思：
一.为什么需要家长配合老师抓学生的学习?
几乎每个家长都希望自己的孩子以后能上重点高中、高中重点班、以至于大学。
而现在重点高中升学率虽高，但竞争却很激烈。
家长们现在活得很辛苦，我也深知培养一个孩子多么难。
但我们教师同样很辛苦，每天和学生同时起床，顾不上吃早饭便要去上早自习，除了上课外还要备课、写详细的教案等待检查、开会、批作业、辅导个别学生、上晚自习„„所以希望咱们彼此相互理解、沟通，共同培养好孩子。
当然，如果家长认为这是教师的事，要我们抓干什么!
我也没有什么说的，我没有权力要求家长只为孩子而活。
二、家长配合教师抓些什么?
怎么抓?
初中语文考试总分100分，作文占40分，考试时除诗词填空及课文中的生字词是考课内学的以外，其它都是课外内容，也就是学生没见过的内容。
因此学生必须学好课内的知识并能转化为阅读和写作的能力，才能应对考试。
家长能配合的就是帮助孩子识记生字词和古文的书下注释、翻译和诗词的背诵。
另外，家长还要配合教师督促孩子多读课外书籍，多多练笔。
哪些课文要求会背?
每课课后的练习题中都有明确提示。
单元考试中这类题的分值比分较重。
凡是在这一块内容上没下功夫的同学，总分都不会高。
毕竟人都有惰性，孩子也不例外，何况孩子学习负担还很重，又处在不大会学习的阶段，这就需要家长督促。
三、家长为什么要督促孩子多读课外书?
读些什么课外书?
学习语文就像烧开水，不到100摄氏度是不会沸腾的，语文知识重在积累，有一个量变到质变的过程，不是一两天能看出成绩的。
我深知每个孩子灿烂可爱的笑脸背后都承载着家长殷切的希望和美好憧憬，作为语文老师，我也一直在尽自己所能，将课堂变
得活泼生动，将每一篇课文变成香甜可口的可乐。
语文成绩在短期内不可能大见成效，语文素质的形成有赖于长期的积累和实践。
