Manyparentsdisplaytheirchildren’sartworkontherefrigerator,butKieronWilliamson’spaintingshavebeenondisplayinprofessionalgalleriessincehewas6yearsold.

Kieron’sartwork,though,extendsfarbeyondchild-likestickfiguresorfingerpainting.Infact,thechildfromNorfolk,England,hasbeencalled“theboywhopaintslikeanoldmaster.”

Accordingtohisparents,Kieronwasatypicaltoddlerwholikefindingbugsandplayinginthemud.Butona2008familyvacationtothebeach,the5-year-oldwasinspiredbytheboatsandsceneryandaskedhisparentsforasketchpad.Hisinitialdrawingscouldhavebeendonebyanyyoungchild,butafterthefamilyreturnedhome,Kieroncontinueddrawingandbegantodisplayagiftforart.

Whenhestartedaskingabouttheprocessofputtingapaintingtogether,hisparentsrealizedheneededprofessionalinstruction.Soonafter,hebegantakinglessons,andhisprogressamazedeveryoneastheyoungboyproducedimpressivelandscapesandwatercolors.
