青春美酒并不总是随岁月流逝而日渐清澈，有时它会日渐混浊。

不理解一个人，就往往会把他当成傻瓜。

Knowingyourowndarknessisthebestmethodfordealingwiththedarknessesofotherpeople.

理解自身的阴暗，是对待他人阴暗一面的最好方法。

Therearemanynightsasdays,andtheoneisjustaslongastheotherintheyear'scourse.Evenahappylifecannotbewithoutameasureofdarkness,andthewordhappywouldloseitsmeaningifitwerenotbalancedbysadness.Itisfarbettertakethingsastheycomealongwithpatienceandequanimity.

一年中的夜晚与白天数量相同、持续时间一样长。

即使快乐的生活也有其阴暗笔触，没有“悲哀”提供平衡，“愉快”一词就会失去意义。

耐心镇静地接受世事变迁，是最好的处事之道。

潜意识如果没有进入意识，就会引导你的人生而成为你的命运。

我们完全手足无措地踏上生命的后半征程。

普通大学把年轻人引入知识世界，什么学校能让四十几岁人为未来生活做好准备？

没有这种学校，我们完全无备地踏入后半生；而更糟的是，我们假定现实和理想会一如既往地效忠于我们。

但实际上，我们不能依照生命之晨，来度过生命之午后，因为晨时的伟大会成为傍晚时的琐碎，而晨时的真理会在傍晚变为谎言。

我总是感到，生活就象萌发于地下根茎的植株。

生活的真正生命是不可见的，它深藏于地下根茎中，而显露出地面的可见一斑部分只能生存一个夏季。

我们所见到的是将会消逝的花簇，而根茎长驻。

有时我会感到，我伸展开来覆盖大地、延伸进万物：

潜意识是未曾付诸文字的人类洪荒时代史。

人的任务，就是意识到从潜意识中努力向上涌出的内容。

Thedreamisalittlehiddendoorintheinnermostandmostsecretrecessesofthesoul,openingintothatcosmicnightwhichwaspsychelongbeforetherewasanyego-consciousness,andwhichwillremainpsychenomatterhowfarourego-consciousnessextends.

梦是开设在灵魂深处最隐蔽角落的小小隐秘窗口，它所通向的宇宙夜空是心灵性的，在自我-意识出现之前很久就已如此，而无论我们的自我-意识的疆界如何扩展，它将始终通向心灵的夜空。

...诗人...是在集体潜意识的深度上创作，众人只能在梦中相遇的内容，被他直白地揭示出来。

人类心理如同人类躯体，它们都带有各自种系发展史的遗迹。

我们的世界的巨变、我们的意识的巨变——这两者是一回事。

......精神是从内部看到的躯体生活，而躯体是精神生活的外在显现——这两者是一回事......

必须把神经官能症......理解为仍未发现自身意义的灵魂的苦难。

而精神王国中的所有创造性、以及人心灵的每一步提升，都是源于灵魂的苦难，苦难的原因则是精神的停滞或精神的荒芜。

神与精神世界确实“只不过”是我们内在的集体潜意识。

原始表象或原型是一种形象——无论是魔鬼、人类、或一个过程的形象——它不断再现于历史长河中，在创造性幻想得以自由表达的地方出现。

因而，它在本质上是一种神话形象。

...在每一个这些表象中，都存在有人类心理和人类命运的片段，它是在我们先祖的历史中无限次出现过的快乐和悲哀的遗迹。

艺术家未被满足的向往触及到潜意识中的原始表象——它最适合于补偿现实的不足与偏癖。

HavethehorrorsoftheWorldWardonenothingtoopenoureyes,sothatwestillcannotseethattheconsciousmindisevenmoredevilishandperversethanthenaturalnessoftheunconscious?

难道即使世界大战的恐怖也无法使我们看到，意识心理会比自然的潜意识心理更加邪恶和不义？

Thelongingforlightisthelongingforconsciousness.

对光明的渴望就是对意识的渴望。

Thedeeper'layers'ofthepsychelosetheirindividualuniquenessastheyretreatfurtherandfurtherintodarkness....theybecomeincreasinglycollectiveuntiltheyareuniversalizedandextinguishedinthebody'smateriality....Hence'atbottom'thepsycheissimply'world.'

心灵的较深“层次”随着深入黑暗之地，而越来越失去其个体独特性。

群众始终是精神时疫的滋生地。

健康的人不会虐待他人——施虐者常常曾为受虐者。

我难以理解“信念”一词。

我不去相信。

我必须为一种假设找到理由。

我因理解而了解——我不需要“相信”。
