Earliertoday,IparticipatedinaWorldHealthOrganizationforum,wheregovernmentofficials,NGOs,andindividualcitizensareworkingonwaystoaddressthehealthproblemsofwomenandgirls.Tomorrow,IwillattendagatheringoftheUnitedNationsDevelopmentFundforWomen.There,thediscussionwillfocusonlocal--andhighlysuccessful--programsthatgivehard-workingwomenaccesstocreditsotheycanimprovetheirownlivesandthelivesoftheirfamilies.Whatwearelearningaroundtheworldisthatifwomenarehealthyandeducated,theirfamilieswillflourish.Ifwomenarefreefromviolence,theirfamilieswillflourish.Ifwomenhaveachancetoworkandearnasfullandequalpartnersinsociety,theirfamilieswillflourish.。
