1、便于与他人联络，给人们的交流带来便利

2、功能逐渐强大、齐全，有助于知识的查询与获取

3、给人们的生活带来便利与色彩

但是，大学生使用手机也存在着一些问题，正是因为手机功能的逐步强大、齐全，让大学生们对知识的索取不再经过深入的思考，直接XX或者谷歌等便可得知答案，另外，在课堂上玩手机的现象也随时可见，更有甚者，在考试时将其作为舞弊的工具传输答案等，总而言之，大学生使用手机在一定程度上会让他们产生依赖，养成一些不好的行为习惯等。
