一．教学设计思想

新课程标准第61页明确指出：

“教师要善于结合教学实际的需要，灵活地和有创造性地使用教材，对教材的内容、编排顺序和教学方法等方面进行适当的取舍或调整。

本课内容较为抽象，但又源于生活实际。

因此我对教学内容进行了重新组合和改编，采用任务型教学方式，引导学生通过观察,归纳,对比,总结等方法发现文章的立意,培养阅读意识,并给学生提供运用语言知识的机会。

每一部分都设有一定的任务，引导学生自主或者合作完成。

活动由整体入手，由易到难，步步推进，层层深入。

我认为我们教师要更新观念，大胆改革，在教材与教学设计上多下功夫，把抽象的阅读内容和学生的生活实际、学习实际、教材实际等结合起来，使阅读教学情景化、形象化、交际化，以优化教学设计来达到优化阅读教学的目的。

二、教材内容分析

本课所给教学内容是由JohnHaines撰写的TheArtofLiving。

作者在文中阐述了人们生活并不快乐的根源，告知人们要知足常乐等人生的真谛。

本文原文生词量大，揭示深奥的人生哲理，高于学生生活实际。

经过重新改编组合使该材料贴近学生现实生活，让学生结合自己的人生阅历来阅读和探讨人生的艺术，以塑造学生乐观积极向上的人生观。

因此我把本课的教学重点（Teachingimportantpoints）和教学难点定位在：

1、学会使用阅读材料中出现的重要单词，短语和句型。

2、能完成所设置的相关阅读与写作任务，提高运用英语的综合能力。

教学难点（Teachingdifficultpoints）

1、如何使学生积极地参与课堂讨论，有效完成课堂学习任务。

2、如何使学生真正学会生活的艺术，培养他们正确的人生观和价值观以及陶冶学生的情操。

三、学生分析

高二学生处于高中英语学习兴趣培养和学习习惯形成阶段。

他们希望在学习过程中享受到乐趣，不希望老师死板地讲解字词及语法；希望老师能够激发他们的好奇心和创造力，创设与他们日常生活紧密相连的学习语境，更希望教师在课堂上能走进他们的心灵，与他们一起互动，帮助他们掌握文化知识，了解学习策略，形成良好的人生观和价值观。

五、教学策略

1．情境教学原则创设贴近学生实际生活的情境，让学生在不知不觉中学会用文章的立意去思考讨论和解决现实生活问题。

2．任务驱动原则让学生带着问题任务去思考，找出相关答案，并分析整理形成自己的观点。

六、教学流程

紧扣“生活的艺术”这一主题，创设各种真实情境来落实本阅读任务：

简单的教学流程如下：

教师自我介绍，引出话题→展示一位学生的求助信（创设情境）→根据求助信内容，引入阅读内容→快速阅读，寻找主题句→仔细阅读，处理细节→深层次理解，拓展练习→小组讨论，主题深化→集体讨论，情感升华→作业

深层次挖掘文中的一些亮点引导学生积极探究。

本教学环节改变了传统处理深层次阅读的方式，以趣味性活动激发学生参与课堂活动的热情，丰富教学手段，以期达到好的教学效果。

所设置的活动包括对课文词句的理解，对作者意图的揣摩等，难易有梯度。

尤其是其中的词汇（如strivefor）替换练习活动，丰富了学生的词汇体系，体现了新课程背景下词汇教学的新理念，对学生的词汇学习具有很强的指导意义。
