形容词和副词

考纲新研读

在语境中选择适当的形容词或副词。

即供选择的形容词或副词不一定都是近义词。

比较级和最高级也是常有考查。

类例：

1.friendly,lively,worried,cold

2.free,vacant,handy,convenient

3.open-minded,hard-working,self-confident,warm-hearted

4.normal,ordinary,common,typical

5.normal,constant,permanent,primary

6.astwicelargeas,twiceaslargeas,twiceasmuchas,astwice

muchas

7.away,up,in,back

8.meanwhile,however,instead,yet

9.still,even,also,ever

10.skillfully,commonly,willingly,nervously

形容词

1.表语形容词：

只作表语或宾补,不能作定语,如:

afraid,alive,

asleep,awake,able,sure,ill,well;而作定语用frightened,live,

sleeping,waking,sick,healthy等;但ablemen有能力的人;ill

effect坏影响

2.形容词的语序：

限定词—描绘性—年龄—新旧—大小—颜色—

原料（类别）＋名词

限定词指冠词、物主代词、指示代词、数词等。

如：

threeverycomfortabledarkbluechairs

thecloudygraymorningsky

3.形容词的级（原级、比较级和最高级）

（1）原级:

as...as,否定用notas（so）...as,同等比较,用形容词原级:

We’llgiveyouasmuchhelpaswecan.

Heisasgoodaboyashisbrother.

as...as前可加nearly,almost,exactly,just,twice,threetimes等：

Weproducedtwiceasmuchcottonthisyearaswedidlastyear.

（2）比较级:

morethan，用形容词的比较级：

MaryistallerthanJohnbutlessactivethanJohn.

比较级前可加far,much,even,still,slightly,alot,alittle,abit

（three）times等,而byfar放在比较级后,最高级前：

Thisstoryismoreinterestingthanthatonebyfar.

这个故事远比那个有趣。

（3）最高级:

themost+范围（三者以上）,用形容词的最高级：

I’mtheyoungestinmyfamily.

Ofallthegirlssheistheleastactive.

4.其它句型:

（1）moreandmore“越来越……”：

Ourcityisbecomingmoreandmorebeautiful.

（2）themore...themore...“越……就越……”：

Thefartherawayathingis,thesmalleritlooks.

（3）用形容词的比较级表示最高级：

Icouldn’tfindabetterplace.=Ifoundthebestplace.

Ifyouwantamantohelpyou,nooneisbetterthanmybrother.

=Mybrotheristhebestmantohelpyou.

副词

1.副词的种类

（1）时间副词:

now,then,today,later,recently等：

Shehascomehererecently.

（2）地点副词:

here,there,everywhere,away,off等：

Shewentdownstairs.

（3）方式副词:

well,hard,happily,nervously,carefully等：

Doitcarefully.

（4）程度副词:

almost,much,（a）little,nearly,rather,too等。

（5）频度副词:

always,often,usually,occasionally,sometimes,hardly,

seldom,never等。

（6）疑问副词:

when,where,why,how等,引导特殊疑问句:

Whereareyougoing?

（7）连接副词:

where,when,why,how,引导主语从句、宾语从句或

表语从句。

Thisiswhywestartedsoearly.

（8）关系副词:

when,where,why,引导定语从句。

（9）其它副词:

seriously,instead,besides等。

2.副词的级（最高级、比较级、原级）,句型与形容词相同,最高级可

省略the。

HeranasfastasI.

PeterplaystennismoreoftenthanDickdoes.

Ofallthegirls,shesings（the）mostbeautifully.
