ComputerMouse

ThebasiccomputermouseisanamazinglycleverinventionwitharelativelysimpledesignthatallowsUStopointatthingsonthecomputeranditisveryproductive．Thinkofallthethingsyoucandowithamouselikeselectingtextforcopyingandpasting，drawing，andevenscrollingonthepagewiththenewermicewiththewheel．MostofUSusethecomputermousedailywithoutstoppingtothinkhowitworksuntilitgetsdirtyandwehavetolearnhowtocleanit.Welearntopointatthingsbeforewelearntospeak，Sothemouseisaverynaturalpointingdevice．Othercomputerpointingdevicesincludelightpens，graphicstabletsandtouchscreens，butthemouseisstillourworkhorse．
