MyfirstcharacterisamannamedRogerwhoisasenioradvisortoapresidentialcandidateinaplaycalled“TheSpot.”He’sashort-temperedguywhosayswhathewantsandtakeswhathewantstoassisthiscandidateintoday’stoughpoliticalraces.He’sonthesetofTheSpot,anadvertisementforthecandidate,tomakesureeverythingrunssmoothlyandthatanyproblemsaredealtwithquicklyandefficiently.
WhileIhadreallyinterestingcharacters,andtheplayswerefunnyandsuchagreatexperiencetoactin,IreallylovetheSeniorPlayProjectforthepeople.Iworkedwith12otherseniorswhonotonlylovedwhattheyweredoing,butofferedhelpandadvicethroughoutmyentirelearningprocess.
Betweenthelights,sounds,costumeandmakeup,andplentymore,theatreisateamsportjustlikebasketballorbaseball.Therearenosmallparts;thereisnoonewhoisn’tneeded.I’velearnedtoappreciatelivetheatre,andtheeffortthateverypersonintheshow,bothonstageandoffstage,putsintoit.
