Firstthingsfirst,ambitionrendersusasenseofmission.Nomatterwhatdecisionyoumakeyouhavetoberesponsibleforyourchoice.Yourchoiceprocuresyouasenseoforientation,ormorespeciallyasenseofmission.Andonlyastrongmissionmayenableonetoaccomplishgreatness.CaesaroftheancientRomanEmpirewasurgedbyhisambition“Icame,Isaw,Iconquered.”AndbecameanunrivaledempirebuilderinthehistoryofRome.JohnMilton,stimulatedalwaysbyhisambitionthataimedatwritingsome“mightylines”whichEnglandwouldunwillinglyforget,hadinduetimesecuredhispositionasthesecondShakespeareinthehistoryofEnglishliterature.

  Incollage,IhadconvincedmyselfthatIwasnotgoodenoughtoactintheschoolplay.Therefore,Idecidednottoauditioneventhoughdramahadalwaysbeenmypassion.Thedayoftheaudition,afriendofmineaskedmewhyIwasnotauditioning.WhenItoldherIdidnotfeelIwasgoodenough,shewasshocked,shewasabletoprovidemewithanotherperspectiveonmyselfandmytalents.Irethoughtmydecisionandtriedout….andgotaleadintheplay.

  However,advertisingisnotwelcomesometimes.AmostirritatingthingistowatchadvertisementsbeforeandduringfilmsonTV.Therearesomanyofthemthattheymakeyouforgetwhatyouaresittingtherefor.Theironicalthingisthatadvertisementsofonetypeofthingsareoftenshownoneafteranothersothatyouareconfusedastowhichproductyoushouldchoose.What’smore,advertisingisnotalwaystruthful.Theadvertisersexaggeratethebenefitsofthemerchandisetheywanttosellinordertogainmoreprofits.Thustheconsumerfallsvictimtosuchadvertising.

  Althoughtherearedisadvantagesofads,wecannotforgettheadvantagesandtheconveniencestheybringtous.First,bytellinguswheresomethingisavailable,theymaysaveusmoneyandtime.Theyguideusinfindingsuitablejobsandotherinformationaswell.Secondly,awiderangeofactivitiesandinstitutionsreceivefinancialsupportthroughadvertising.Withoutthissupportwewouldhavetopaymuchmorefornewspapersandsportsgames.Thirdly,perfectadvertisementsevenprovideentertainment.Aconsiderableamountofeffortgoesintotheirproduction.Soinmostcasesthephotographyistrulyartistic,theslogansaregenuinelywitty,andthesituationsarereallyfunny.
