∙

1.wonder的基本意思是“对…感到疑惑”,常指自然界或艺术上的宏伟或新颖、奇特的事物使人惊讶、困惑。

wonder也常常表示“想知道”“问自己”,指考虑某事,并且努力猜想,以求对其多了解一些。

2.当wonder与whether〔if〕连用时,表示“思考某事,并设法判断该事是否属实”,也可表示一种委婉的请求或邀请。

3.wonder既可用作不及物动词,也可用作及物动词。
