Anation’sdevelopmentneedsthesupportofitsspirit,whileacorporationneedsspiritualandculturalideastoguideitsoperationsanddevelopment.Theculturalideasofanenterpriseareveryimportantandcaneffectivelyavoidthemarketandindustryrisks.Withoutculturalideas,thecorporationwilllackofitssoulanddirection,toletaloneitsdevelopment.Inaknowledge-basedeconomyera,theroleofenterprisecultureisveryimportant.Thispaperwilldemonstratethefunctionsofenterpriseculture:

enterpriseculturecanenhancethecorecompetitivenessofacorporation,promotestaff’sabilities,establishcorrectdirectiontothecorporation,promotesustainabledevelopmentofcorporation,beabletokeeptalentsforthecorporation,anditssignificancetothedevelopmentofacorporation.Thispapercombinesseveralcasestoprovetheroleofenterprisecultureinthecorporationdevelopment.

一个民族的发展需要一种民族精神作为支撑,一个企业同样需要一种精神和文化理念来指导自己的运营与发展,从而有效的避免市场和行业风险。

如果没有文化理念的支撑,那么企业就等于没有灵魂,就会失去方向,更谈不上发展。

在知识经济时代,企业文化的作用的确很重要。

本论文将从企业文化的作用:

企业文化可以提高企业核心竞争力,提高员工素质,引导企业正确发展,推动企业可持续发展,为企业保留人才等这几方面以及企业文化对企业发展的重要性着手,再结合实例来论证企业文化在企业发展中的作用。

Anation’sdevelopmentneedsthesupportofanation’sspirit.Inmyopinion,acorporationalsoneedsspiritualandculturalideastoguideitsoperationanddevelopment,withoutthesupportofculturalideas,allenterpriseoperatingactivitieswilllackofitssoulanditwillloseitsdirection.

Nowadays,intheaspectofcorporationmanagement,peoplearepayingmoreattentiontothestrengthofnon-materialfactors.Theybegintoputtheenterpriseculturetothefirstplace,becausetheyrealizetheimportanceofenterpriseculturetothedevelopmentofacorporation.Wewilldiscoverthatcorporationcandeveloprapidlyandsuccessfully,itisbecausetheyhavesucceededincreatingauniqueenterpriseculture.

Asweallknow,enterpriseculturehasitssimilaritiesindifferentcorporations:

thereisafullreflectionofthecompany’spurposeorspiritualvalues;Theworkersareregardedasthegreatestwealth.Thehumanvalues,requirementsandtrainingareconcernedbythemanagers.Weknow,anycorporation’sdevelopmentandsuccessisahardproject,soweshouldrelyonitsbrain,namelytheenterpriseculture.Allmanagementphilosophyandbusinessideasofacorporationarecontainedinitsconcept.Ifitscultureisstillnotattractiveenough,wecansayitisstillremainatapreliminaryphase.Foracompany,thestaffarethecarrierofitsspirit,thementaloutlookofthestaffdirectlyreflectstheoperationofthecorporation.Asthecompetitionisbecomingmorefierce,astocorporations,theyshouldtrytheirbesttoprovideagoodexternalenvironmentandanactiveinneratmospherforthestaffinordertomeettheirrequirementsandbringbenefitsforthecompany.onlybydoingthis,canacorporationkeepsustainabledevelopment.

1.TheSignificanceofEnterpriseCulture

Asweallknow,enterprisecultureistheinternalneedforanewcorporation’ssurvivalanddevelopment.Soweshouldmakegooduseofenterpriseculturetoimprovecompetitivenessofthecorporation.Buildingenterprisecultureandgivefullplaytopeopleisatrendoftheworld,moreover,thewisdomandcreativityofthestaffarechoicesofhigh-levelmodernmanagement.Tobuildenterprisecultureandimprovethecohesionandthecompetitioninthemarketisthebasicstrategyofexistenceanddevelopmentofacorporation,throughbuildinganenterprisecultureandenhancethevitalityofthecorporationcanensurethehealthydevelopmentofthemarketeconomy.Toestablishastrategicawarenessofenterpriseculturecanenhancethestrategicviewpointandrealizethefunctionsofenterprisecultureistheurgentneedandinevitabletrendtogainmarketsharesandeconomiccompetitiveadvantages.

2.FunctionsofEnterpriseCulture

Enterprisecultureplaysanimportantroleintheiremployeesandmanagement,especiallywhenthemarketcompetitioniskeen,theinfluenceofcultureisevenstrongerthantheotherfactorssuchasmanagingtactics,managingsystemsandorganizingstructure.Thefunctionsofenterpriseculturearemainlyexpressedasfollows:

2.1EnhancingCoreCompetitiveness

Enhancingcorecompetitivenessiscrucialforthedevelopmentforacorporation.therecentstudiespointoutthatthecompetitivepowerofacorporationistheabilitytocontinuetosellproductsandservices,thesetwoaremoreeffectivethanotherelementsofthecorporation,andcouldhelpobtaintheprofitandimproveoverallquality.Corecompetitivenessincludetheelementsofthemanagementstructure,externalandinternalenvironment,resources,relations,theoperationofcorporation,thesize,brand,andproperty.Thereisadeeperlevelofthecorecompetitionthatiscorporationconception,corporationimage,innovationabilities,individualfeatureofdifferentcorporation,financialsoundness,long-termgoalsofexcellentcultureanddevelopment.Thefirstlevelisthesurfacecompetition.Thesecondlevelisthemostcrucialcompetitivepower.Fromtheabovewecanseethattheenterprisecultureplaysanimportantroleinenhancingtheircompetitivepower.Thecontentsofenterpriseculturearesimpleandclear.Ifthevaluehasbeenacceptedbyallthestaff,undertheguidanceofsuchvalue,thestaffwillformastrongsenseofmissioninthepractice.Moreover,thewholeemployeesofacompanywillformanexcellentimageforthecorporation.Ithinkitisthebasisofacompanyforfurtherdevelopment.

Nowadaystheinternalresourcesofacorporationarebecomingmoreandmoreimportant.Generallyspeaking,theyareoftendividedintothreemajoraspectsasfollows:

physicalresources,humanresourcesandintangibleresources.Theformertwohavebeenpaidmuchattention,butthelatteroneisofteneasilyneglectedbymanypeople.Withthedevelopmentofeconomy,theinvisibleresourcesarethekeyelementforeconomicdevelopment.Itsadvantagesdemonstrateditssuperiorstrength,invisibleresourcescontainthereputationofacompany,itsbrand,enterprisecultureandcustomerloyaltyandsoon.Competitorscanquicklygrasptheadvantagesofthemanddosuccessfulbusiness.Infact,theinvisibleresourcesareaninvaluableassetforacorporation.Theyhaveacloserelationtotheflourishingofacompany.

2.2FunctionofPromotingtheStaff

Becausetheideasofthestaffarethecoreofenterpriseculture,theydecidethewaysofthinkingandbehaviorsofthestaff,therefore,agoodenterpriseculturecanfullyexploitthepotentialandstimulatesthemoralofthestaff,meanwhile,asaspiritualforce,theenterprisecultureisakindofrestrictionandpillarofacorporation,whencorporationmanagementtendstoteammanagement,itisamutualunderstandingbetweenmembers.Whenagoodenterprisecultureisfounded,itbringsagroupofwisdom,thespiritofcollaboration,freshvitality,anditwillprovideprogressivespiritualpowerforcorporation.Ofcourse,unsuccessfulenterpriseculturewillhindercorporationdevelopment.

Forexample,theGeneralElectricCompanyintheUnitedStatessetsahighgoalofthetaskofitsemployees,however,thecompanyoftenindicatesthetargetwiththesameperiodlastyear,ifnotcompleted,thecompanywillfullyconsiderthereasons.Ifitisapersonalmatter,thecompanypaysmoreattentiontotheprogressofthestaff,unlikesomecompaniesthatpunishthestaffwhomakemistakes,thecompanyoftenchoosesthewayofgivingprizetoencouragethestaff,thusiteffectivelyprotectstheemployees’spirit,soitisagoodencouragesystem.

2.3FunctionofRestriction

Enterprisecultureandcorporationspiritestablishcorrectdirectiontocorporation,tothosebehaviorsagainstthedevelopmentofcorporation,theyoftenexertthefunctionofsoft-restriction.Restrictionfunctioncanimproveconsciousnessandself-restrictionofthestaff,itcanmakethestafftodefinethemeaningandmethod,andimprovetheirresponsibilities.
