 Freshmenareabouttostartanewchapterintheircollegelife.Transitionfromhighschooltocollegelifewillbeahardtimeatthebeginning.Withthepurposeofhelpingthemtoadapttothenewlifeandacademicstudiesofcollegequicklyandavoidlosingthemselves,ouruniversityisplanningtoorganizeanorientationprogram.

 Theprogram,whichisholdbythestudentunion,willlasttwoweeks.Allthenewstudentsarerequiredtoattend.Duringthistime,manyactivitieswillbeholdincludingmilitarytrainingwhichisatradition.Also,freshmenaregoingtotakepartinsomelectureswhichareaboutthehistoryofouruniversity,helpingthemknowbetterabouttheplacewheretheyaregoingtospendfouryears.Apartfromthoseactivities,wewillalsoorganizemanyinterestingactivitiesthatcaninvolvebothentertainmentandstudy.Attheendofthisprogram,wewillholdanawardpartytocommendthoseadvancedindividualgroups.Mostofall,theycanmakemanyfriendsduringthoseactivities.

 HopeallthefreshmencantakepartinourprogramactivelyandIamsuretheycanfindtheirownwaytoadapttothewonderfullifeofcollege.

  Itisnotuncommonthatwhenseniorstudentsgraduatefromuniversity,mostoftheirusedbookswhicharestillingoodconditionareprobablythrownaway.Whatagreatwasteitis!

Inordertoavoidthiskindofwasteandmakefulluseofusedbooks,theStudents’Unionofouruniversityhasorganizedthespecialprojectofcollectingusedbooksoncampus.Wearepleasedthattheprojecthasreceivedwarmwelcomeandstrongsupportfromthestudents.AllthemembersoftheStudents’Uniongiveourssincerethankstoyou.
