Module2NoDrugs

I.教学内容分析

本模块以NoDrugs为话题,通过本模块的学习使学生对drugs和smoking有所了解,并通过对这两个问题的深入探讨使学生认识到drugs和smoking对身体健康的害处,对社会的危害,以及由此引发的社会问题。

使学生树立远离香烟和毒品的意识,养成良好的生活习惯,关爱社会,关心他人,并通过所学知识运用恰当的方式来规劝他人远离香烟和毒品。

Introduction 通过对有关吸烟数据的判断,让学生初步认识吸烟的危害。

学习有关香烟、吸毒和其危害性的词汇,最后通过对三个问题的讨论对其进一步理解和巩固。

ReadingandVocabulary学习另外一些毒品的名称及相关的词汇,通过学习一篇外国年轻人吸毒、戒毒的文章和另外一篇关于毒品危害性的文章掌握这些相关词汇;并通过完成相关的阅读练习来培养学生的阅读能力,让学生深刻体会到毒品对人心身的危害。

Grammar

(1) 学习动词不定式作目的状语,并弄清inorderto和soasto的用法。

Function 学习so,asaresultof和asaresult表示结果的用法,并通过练习来巩固所学内容。

ListeningandVocabulary 通过回答问题的形式了解和学习有关犯罪的词汇,然后采用回答和完成句子的形式来对听力内容进行检测,培养学生的听力能力。

Grammar

(2) 由练习来引出引导结果状语从句的词,并弄清so…that和such…that的区别,然后通过练习来巩固其用法。

Pronunciation 通过听力活动来学会在日常交际中如何表达个人情感态度。

Speaking 通过回答问题的形式来讨论吸烟带来的危害。

Writing 根据外国学生有关戒烟话题的e-mail选择合适的题目,并对其内容做出讨论,在讨论的基础上写一封内容相关的回信。

EverydayEnglish 学习同意或否定的表达法,并通过模拟真实语境来练习运用。

CultureCorner 通过介绍美国一些组织如何给吸烟者提供帮助,来对问题进行讨论,从而认识到吸烟的危害,使自己成为一个有坚强意志的人。

Task 以小组活动的形式让学生就吸烟危害性问题进行讨论。

最后在讨论的基础上提交一份调查报告。

ModuleFile对整个模块的学习内容进行小结,巩固本模块的知识。
