路上，她遇到了“没有脑的稻草人”“没有心的铁皮人”“没有胆子的狮子”，他们成为了朋友，与多萝茜一同去找仙人，途中有很多希奇古怪的事。

最后，稻草人成为了翡翠城的首领，铁皮人成了温基人的领导者，狮子成为了一个古老的森林的王，多萝茜和她的小狗回到了家里。
