Thereare284metallurgicalandbuildingmaterialproductioncompaniesinChengduwhichareabovetheaverageindustriallevel（141aremetallurgicalcompaniesand143arebuildingmaterialproductioncompanies）.Theirtotalindustrialaddedvalueis13.558billionRMBwithanincreaseof29.7%overthepreviousyearwhichaccountfor13.8%ofthecity’sindustrialvalue;thetaxincomefromthesecompaniesare3.667billionRMBwithanincreaseof26.62%overthepreviousyearwhichaccountfor11.9%ofwholetaxrevenue.Besidesthat,theirprofitisupto2.181billionRMBwhichtakesup12.2%oftotalnumber;investmentrevenuefromthecapitalassertsis8.24billionRMBwithanincreaseof13.2ofthepreviousyear.
