BasedonthedatacollectedthroughoutRichmondlastyear, projectmemberVivekShandasatPortlandStateUniversityandhiscolleagueswereabletoproducemapsofurbanheatacrossthecityaswellasheatvulnerability(脆弱性),which takes socioeconomicdifferences intoaccount.Thosemapsarenowbeingusedto inform acitywide masterplan update andaclimateresilience(复原)plan.
