1）meet相当于汉语中“集合；见面；碰头；聚集”。

2）right表示“对吗，是吧”，用来表示对此前陈述内容进行确认和核实。
全句为Isthatright?
口语中常用不完整的句子表达意见或想法。

alittle意为“有点儿”，用来修饰形容词。

今晚有点冷。
【拓展】alittle意为“一些；少许”后跟不可数名词。

碗里有点肉。

glass作“玻璃”讲时，是不可数名词；作“玻璃杯”讲时为可数名词；而glasses则是“眼镜”之意。

4.Heisn’ttallorshort.他不高也不矮。
英语在受到否定概念限定的部分中一般不用and,而用or。

在以上这种用法中，or相当于andnot。
试比较：

=Sophienevercleansanddoesnotevenoffertowashthedishes.
索菲从不打扫房间，甚至从不主动洗碗。

一、描述人物外貌的问句。
询问人物外貌时，我们常用“What+do/does+主语＋looklike?
”这一句型。
其中，助动词用do还是does取决于主语人称和数的变化：
当主语是第三人称单数或单数名词时，用does；当主语是其他人称或复数名词时，用do。
如：

你姐姐长什么样？
Whatdoherparentslooklike?
她父母长什么样？
