  RecentlyI’vereadtheBritishfamouswriterThomasHardy’smasterpiece-TessoftheD’urbervilles.ItdescribesthemisfortuneofapoorpeasantgirlTess.Inthisnovel,wecanseeTessresistherunjustfateagainandagain,tilltoberuined.Withthedevelopmentoftheplotwefindthathertragedyisinevitable.Wecannotbutfeeltheintenseemotionsofpityandfear.

  ThecauseofTess’stragedyhasalwaysbeentheconcernofpeople,suchabeautiful,nobleandpurewomanasTessshouldsufferinevitableruin.Whatleadstohertragicdestiny?

Ican’tdoverywellinanalysisthenovel.Idon’tknowclearlyhowthetimeshelivedinaffectherlife.Idohaveanunderstandingofthenovelbymyself.AlecandAngelwhoarethetwopeopleverycloselyrelatedtoTess’sfate.IthinkfierceAlecplayedaveryimportantroleinkillingTess,butinfact,itwashypocriticalAngelwhokilledTessindirectlybutmorecruelly.
