LivinginDublinprovidedagreatopportunityforseeingtherestofIrelandandEurope.Ispentmyweekendsandspringbreaktravelingtoeverycorneroftheisland,amazedatallofthehistoryandnaturalbeauty.IwasalsoabletovisittheUK,theNetherlands,Belgium,DenmarkandSweden.Aftereverytrip,itwasnicetoreturntofriendlyDublinandheadoutwithmyroommatestooneofourfavoritepubs.

Severalofthevictimsreportedbeingtakenawayfromtheirbedsorcarsbyaliencreaturesaroundfourfeethigh,withlongandleanarmsandlegsandoversizedheads,Frenchsaid.Somemensaidtheywereforcedtotakepainfulmedicalexaminationsbythealiens.

Manyofthealienexperiencescouldbeexplainedbysleepparalysis,aconditioninwhichapersonisawakeandawareofthesurroundingsbutisunabletomove.Sleepparalysisoftenleadstohallucinations—theexperienceofseeingorfeelingsomethingthatisnotreallythereand40percentofpeopleexperiencethestateatleastonceintheirlives,Frenchsaid.Arichimaginationwasalsoatplay.Severalofthealienvictimsweremorelikelytofantasizeandreportedtohaveseenghosts(幽灵)andhaveunnaturalabilities.
