AsfarasIamconcerned,IcanonlysaythatIneedopportunity,andIneedhardworkmore.Weallknowthatopportunitiesdoplayanimportantroleinoursuccess.However,manypeoplebelievethatthekeyfactorthatleadstotheirfinalsuccessdependsontwoaspects.Thefirstaspectisone’sdiligenceandability.Thesecondoneistheopportunities.Afurtherargumentisthatabilityisthebasicofsuccess.Withoutability,evenverygoodopportunitiescome,youcannotgraspthem.

However,whatreallycountsisnothowluckyyouaretogetgoodopportunities,butwhetherornotyouhavesuchanabilitytotakeadvantageofthem.Thereareplentyofopportunitiesforeveryoneinoursociety,butonlythosewhoarepreparedadequatelyandqualifiedhighlycanmakeuseofthemtoachievetheirgoal.

2.MyViewontheNegativeEffectsofReferenceBooks

Nowadaysstudentsconstantlyfindthemselvesfloodedbyallkindsofreferencebooks.Referencebooksthemselvesareofnoharm.It’sgenerallybelievedmostofthemarehelpfulandbeneficial.However,theoveruseornotusingtheminaproperway,suchasdependingtoomuchonthem,willcertainlydoharmtostudents.

Obviously,dependingtoomuchonreferencebooks,hasmanynegativeeffects.Tobeginwith,theycanmakesomestudents(be)lessattentiveinclass.Armedwithkeystoallthequestions,theyseemtoknowallandonlyfindtheirmemorycompletelyblankinexam-rooms.Besides,somereferencebookspublishedinsuchahastethattheyoccasionallyprovidestudentswithwronganswers,thusmakingstudentsconfusedaboutsomeknowledge.Worstofall,bymerelycopyingfromthereferencebooks,studentsgraduallybecomelazyandgetintopassivelearninghabitswhicharedifficulttogetridof,andwhat’smore,dogreatharmtotheircreativity.

Therefore,Isuggeststudentstakeprotectiveattitudestowardsthemselvesinfrontofallkindsofreferencebooks.Inaddition,theyshouldbetaughthowtomakeproperuseofthebooksandneveroverusethembymerelycopying(withoutthinking).Onlyinthiswaycantheyreducethenegativeeffectsofreferencebooks.

3.HarmfulnessofVideoGames

Nowadays,timeandagain,studentsareprohibitedformplayingvideogames,butalmostinvain.Asamatteroffact,manyteenagersarestillseenindulgingintheexcitinggames,esp.duringthevacations.However,thisproblemhascaughtthenationalwideattention.
