In1990,IenteredYunnanUniversityandmajoredinElectricalengineeringandautomation.Aftermygraduationin1994,Icontinuedtostudymypostgraduatecourse,andmajoredinMaterialscienceandEngineering,supervisedbyprofessorWayne Rooney .Intheperiodofmygraduatestudy,IresearchedonAluminumbasedcomposites.Thefrictionandwearresistanceofthecompositeswereanalyzedbyexperiments.Inthose7yearsstudy,Iworkedveryhard.

Afterlreceivedmymasterdegreein1997,Iwasofferedagoodpositionasateacherinkunminguniversityofscienceandtechnology.Inthepastfewyears,lwasinvolvedinsevealresearchprojectsandhavepublishedmorethan20papers.However,withthetimegoingon,themoreIlearnedandexperienced,theclearerIrealizedthatIamreallyinterestedinmaterialscience.Iameagertolearnmoreaboutthefieldofmaterialscience,especiallythetechnologyofmaterialforming.andIhopeIcanstudyfurther.IfluckilyIwasgivenachancetopursuitmydoctordegreeinTsinghuaUniversity,Iwillworkharderthanbeforetoenrichmyknowledgeandmakemyselftobeawell-qualifieddoctoralcandidate.
