Indeed,participantsinthestudyreportedgettingbetween30and45minutesofexerciseaday,onaverage.

Theresultsaresupportedbyanewfieldofresearchthatshowshowlongperiodsofinactivitycanaffectthebody’sprocessingoffatsandothersubstancesthatcontributetoheartrisk.Andtheysuggestthatpeoplecanhelpdecreasesuchrisksimplybyavoidingextendedperiodsofsitting.
