Furthermore,inthelongterm,thefullsunmethodalsodamagestheecosystembecausemorechemicalfertilizersandpesticides(杀虫剂)areneededtogrowthecoffee.Thefertilizersandpesticideskillinsectsthateatcoffeeplants,andthenthebirdseatthepoisonedinsectsandalsodie.Thechemicalskillorsickenotheranimalsaswell,andcanevenenterthewaterthatpeoplewilleventuallydrink.
