Asecurityexpertforapilots'associationagreesthatitisaseriousproblem.BritishAirwaysregistered260incidentsin1997,fourtimesthefigureofthreeyearsearlier.TherearenostatisticsinGermany,butofficialsestimatethateachyearsome100,000passengersonboardGermanairplanesmisbehaveseriously.
