  look.Tomakesurethatthisprojectwasasuccess,thebestengineersfromacrosstheworldwere

  employed.EngineersfromHollandformedthemajorityinthis

  group.Tobeginwith,theengineerscalculatedthestrengthofstormsatsea,andalsotheexpectedamountofriseinwaterlevelsduetoglobal

  warming.Andthentheyfoundthat,theproposedlocationfortheislandwasneitherverywidenor

  deep.Oneofthedifficultiestheengineerscameacrosswastoputsandontheseabedtocreatethebreakwater(防浪堤).Findingtherightsandfortheprojectwasalsoadauntingtask,asthesandfromDubai’sdesertswastoo

  fine.Instead,sandfromtheseawasused,asitwascoarser(粗糙).Oncethebreakwaterwasbuilt,constructionoftheisland
