1.一般过去时用法:
表示过去发生的而现在已经不复存在的动作或状态。
常与表示过去的时间状语连用,如:
justnow(刚才),yesterday(昨天),yesterdaymorning/afternoon/evening(昨天上午/下午/晚上),thedaybeforeyesterday(前天),lastnight/week/month/year(昨夜/上周/上个月/去年,twodays(…)ago(两天/…前),in2000(…)(在2000/…年)等。

3.动词过去式的构成
(1)一般情况下,直接在动词的词尾加-ed,如:
play—played,clean—cleaned等。
(2)以不发音的字母e结尾的动词直接加-d,如:
hope—hoped,arrive—arrived等。
(3)以辅音字母加y结尾的动词,变y为i,再加-ed。
如:
cry—cried,study—studied等。
(4)以末尾是重读闭音节,且以单个辅音字母结尾的动词,将词尾的辅音字母双写,再加ed。
如:
stop—stopped,mop—mopped等。
(5)另有一些不规则变化需特别记忆,如:
have—had,say—said等,可参考“动词过去式不规则变化表”。
5AUnit8-10一般将来时句型
1.一般将来时的用法:
一般将来时表示将要发生的动作或状态,常与表示将来的时间状语连用,如:
tomorrow(明天),tomorrowmorning/afternoon/evening(明天上午/下午/晚上),thedayaftertomorrow(后天),nextweek/month/year(下周/下个月/明年),inafewdays(几天后),inthefuture(将来)等。
另外,“begoingto+动词原形”也表示将来,意为“打算做某事”。

2.一般将来时的构成形式:
