UNIT3SIGNALWORDS(I)
Signalwordsareliketrafficlightsorroadsigns.Theyguidethereaderssmoothlyalongthepathofthoughtsetdownbythewriter.Therefore,itisnecessarytounderstandwhatsignalwordsarearidhowtheyfunction.Signalwordsmaybefoundanywhereinaparagraphorusedtoformaclosertiebetweenparagraphs.Theymaybeclassifiedaccordingtotheirfunctions.
