manykidshavelosttheirinterestinlearning.Educatorsoftenfailtorecognizevariouskindsofintelligence.

Theysimplyexertalotofpressureonstudentstobeaswell-roundedaspossible.Ithinkbeingwell-roundedisn'treallypossible.

Andasaconsequence,somestudentsIbelievetobeintelligentcan'tgetintogoodcollegesifthey,

youknow,haven'tscoredwellonthemathsection,eveniftheyarebrilliantwriters.Anotherthingthatdisturbsmeisthattheso-calledweakstudentsareseparated

fromtherestoftheschool.

Somekidsarekeptinaseparateclassiftheirgradesarelowerthanothers'.Andthey'reveryawareoftheirsocialposition,youknow.

Ithinkitcausesthemtoactinawaythatisnotreallypositive.
