弥达斯是马其顿勃洛弥恩的国王。

于是他盛情款待老山神五天五夜，尔后派导游护送他回到狄俄尼索斯的大本营。
狄俄尼索斯向来在为西勒诺斯担忧，看到西勒诺斯安全回来很快乐。
他咨咨询弥达斯有什么要求，他应该怎样报答他。
弥达斯绝不疑心地回答说，“请恩准使我摸到的所有都变成金子。
”可是，变成金子的不能是是石块、花朵和屋内的陈设。
他坐下吃饭时，他吃的食品和喝的水也都变成金子。
过了不久，弥达斯恳求狄俄尼索斯使他从他那梦想中解脱开来，由于他饥渴交加，快死了。
狄俄尼索斯逗弄弥达斯，快乐得很。
他叫弥达斯前往帕克托罗斯河的源泉，在河里洗个澡。
弥达斯依法行事，马上清除了点金术，但帕克托罗斯河的沙子到此刻因含金而闪闪发光。

而国王伊万诺斯由于失去了女儿最后投江自杀。
不久伊达斯和玛彭莎抵达江边。
他们在周边一寺庙中过夜。
清早醒来，伊达斯发现阿波罗将玛彭莎偷走了。
阿波罗沉浸于玛彭沙的美貌，伊达斯决定与之决斗。
决斗马上开始。
忽然，他们周围响起了雷电声。
原来是宙斯赶来制止这场不公正的决斗。
宙斯让玛彭莎作出选择：
要么长生不老，享受永久的荣耀；要么对爱情忠贞不渝，而过一种充满忧虑和悲伤的凡人的生活。

梅底是个心地歹毒的女人。
她一心想让自己的孩子继承雅典
王国的王位。
她试图毒死特修斯，可是被国王发现。
梅底只好自杀。
那段时间，雅典城向来要向克里特国王米诺斯进贡，每年须向克里特王国进贡七对童男童女来饲养半人半牛的怪物。
特修斯决定去杀死怪物。
临行前，他向父亲保证，一旦成功，他将把船上的黑帆换成白帆。
在克里特公主阿瑞安得妮的帮助下，他完成了任务并赢得了克里特公主的爱。
但在快到雅典时，他忘记换约定好的白帆。
他忧虑的父亲看到黑帆，以为儿子死了，就绝望地跳海自杀了。
特修斯知道此事懊悔万分。
这样特修斯接替他的父亲，成了雅典的国王。

厄洛斯和普绪卡
有一个国王，他有三个美丽的女儿。

普绪卡相信了并很快乐的生活，还邀请她的两个姐姐到宫殿里来做客。
可是，她的姐姐们看到妹妹有这样豪华的生活，很忌妒。
当她们得知妹妹其实不知道丈夫的样子时，她们告诉普绪卡，周边的村民说她的丈夫是一个魔鬼，并给了她一把特其他刀，让她砍掉厄洛斯的头。
在厄洛斯熟睡今后，普绪卡点亮灯并拿着刀抵达丈夫床边。
忽然，她发现自己丈夫居然这样迷人。
可是太晚了，厄洛斯已经醒来并发现了所有。
“笨拙的普绪卡，你就是这样报答我对你的爱的么我违犯了我母亲的命令并娶了你，而你却以为我是魔鬼要杀我”说完这个，厄罗斯便飞走了，留下普绪卡倒在地上，泪如泉涌。
