2006年西8度景观规划设计公司与DTAH公司共同赢得了中央滨水区的创意设计大奖赛，获得了将多伦多滨水区规划设讣的委托，该规划设讣希望将其打造成为一个世界级旅游LI的地。

作为该项LI的首席顾问，西8度景观规划设计公司和DTAH公司共同负责协调、设计开发、绘制图纸以及合同管理工作。

6、西8度景观规划设计公司和DTAH公司还与承包商们密切合作，设计出独特的路面铺装样式、长椅以及路灯等。

而且他们还对当地的土壤、水文等做了详尽的研究，只为该项LI设讣能够更加的科学合理。

该滨水区的笫一标段是不断延伸的海滨地带的一部分，长925米，宽9.4米，山枫树双排花岗岩路面砖与和家具的镶嵌组成。

它的路面采用了马赛克样式的花岗岩，道路两侧有成排的枫树和座椅等。

另一个9米宽步行区则采用了混凝土的材料铺路，在邻近的建筑物和湖之间创建了一个方圆18.4米的公共空间。

8、评价

经过不断的建设和发展，现在的东海岸的滨水长廊已经是一个活跃的公民活动区，而且也是未来多伦多海滨区域发展的一个成功的先例。
